The Cutting Edge of Fun
Enjoy family friendly competition at The Axe Shedd
Whether you prefer ninja stars or the classic axe, shake things up a bit and throw down some sharp things! Safe, fun, and relaxing perfectly describe an evening at The Axe Shedd. Whether it’s league night, date night, or a team-building event, you can be sure that you’ll catch on quickly to the fast-growing alternative sport of axe throwing. Expert staff will brief you on safety and guide you, step by step, through the basics in a casual, laid-back environment. And while you wait your turn for the throwing lane, hang out at the bar and enjoy a soda, beer, or glass of wine. Cornhole sets are also available to keep that friendly competition going.
Various leagues are active throughout the year, including league play for college students, school-age kids, and corporate and social groups. Recreational leagues are open to everyone, and beginners are welcome–it’s a great way to meet new people (and maybe release a little stress at the same time!). Guests are welcome to bring food… maybe you’ll have a pizza delivered to go with that craft beer offered at the bar, or pick up your favorite meal from a local restaurant or food truck.
The Axe Shedd features six throwing lanes. Once you’ve mastered throwing a traditional axe, you can move on to ninja stars, knives, and big axes. You can bring your own axe, but it will need to be safety-checked and cleared by a staff member. The Axe Shedd team takes safety very seriously, is proud of their spotless safety record, and ensures that rules are strictly enforced.
Liven up your next party by holding it at The Axe Shedd or booking the axe-throwing mobile trailer. Make your next company meeting or family get-together the most memorable one ever!

Get the hang of axe throwing in three easy steps:
1. Assemble your crew. Round up family, friends, co-workers, your teenagers, your significant other–anybody who’s at least 12 years old and is down for a little friendly competition. The more, the merrier!
2. Relax. You can do this. Your group will have a dedicated throwing lane, so no random knives or ninja stars spinning through the air in your direction. Experienced staff members will demonstrate how to throw and help you get started. You’ll be nailing that target in no time!
3. Have fun (and maybe make a friendly wager or two). Axe Shedd coaches will explain a few different games and methods to get you on board. And then it’s all about the competition–may the best thrower win!
