WELCOME to the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce As the 2019 incoming Chairman, I am humbled to have the opportunity of working with and serving you our members by continuing to provide strong leadership. My goal as Chairman is to continue the mission set forth by the Chamber Board of Directors which is to be proactive in creating an environment for business and community success. I am excited about working with a very dedicated Chamber and Visitors Bureau staff that works hard to provide the best service and value to you our members. Mostly I am looking forward to working with all of the dedicated chamber members, committees, as well as other organizations to create a better community. I have been an active member in the Chamber of Commerce as well as other organizations in Emporia and surrounding communities for the past 21 years and look forward to continuing to be a servant leader. Red Alerts

Contact the Chamber to participate (620)342-1600 The Red Alert program is designed to get information to Chamber members in the event of “questionable” banking activity in our area. The Red Alert Systems begins with the Police Department contacting our office; then we forward the information on to our members who sign up to be a part of this program.

Group Lunches are an excellent way to network! You will be paired up with a group of 4-6 other Emporia Area Chamber members to enjoy lunch at a local Chamber member restaurant. The Chamber is pleased to have two rooms available for the public to use for corporate meetings, board retreat, staff training, instructional activities, internal business affairs, seminars, webinars, etc. The rooms can be used individually or opened into one large room. Technology available includes: high-speed Internet, smart TV, grey boards, projectors and ELMO. • Chamber Members: $50 for the first four (4) hours of use; then $50 for each additional hour or part of an hour thereafter. • Non-Chamber Members: $50 for each hour or part of an hour thereafter. • Non-Profits: First four (4) hours at no charge. This farm to table event features local products from our region and paired with wine. The unique casual yet elegant setting will have everyone sitting in one long table setting, and served family style.

The Chamber reserves the right to modify a sponsor logo in regards to it being presented in color, black or white for inclusion on Chamber artwork. A 25% cancellation fee may be charged if agreement is canceled for any reason. A la carte funds are only available in the year in which your membership was purchased. You may not use 2018 a la Carte funds to pay for 2019 sponsorships.
