We are delighted to welcome you to Sanctuary Cove for the 2022 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).

The Southern Hemisphere’s premier marine event is back for another blockbuster year with more exhibitors, our biggest ever display on water, and more immersive experiences that highlight the growing appeal of the recreational boating lifestyle.

After a record-breaking 2021 show that attracted more than 51,000 visitors, SCIBS is rolling out the red carpet with a showstopping lineup of over 300 exhibitors showcasing more than 600 boats and 1000 marine products across four action-packed days.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned showgoer, you can experience everything from the latest marine gadgets and must-have technology to a massive display of trailer boats and superyachts all in one stunning waterfront location.

As one of the first major events on the international boat show calendar, SCIBS is the place to see a raft of global product launches and Australian premieres of new models from industry-leading brands and retailers in the Gold Coast hub of marine manufacturing.

Our owner, Mulpha Australia, is firmly committed to the marine industry and continues to invest in developing assets including 48 new, purpose-built undercover berths — a Southern Hemisphere first — after a $10 million expansion to the Sanctuary Cove Superyacht Marina.

After a successful debut in 2021, The Lagoon Lounge ups the ante with an enhanced luxury offering, including an exclusive VIP ticket to enjoy the SCIBS experience in a stylish space overlooking the new Superyacht Marina and iconic Lagoon Pool at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.

The 5-star InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort returns as our 2022 Hospitality Partner, offering a smorgasbord of delectable cuisine, free-flowing champagne, and premium beverages at The Lagoon Lounge.

SCIBS 2022 also marks a momentous milestone with Major Sponsor Bentley Brisbane & Gold Coast. Celebrating a decade-long association with the Show, four custom cars have been specially commissioned for the occasion.

Riding the wave of increased interest in recreational boating in Australia, SCIBS showcases the accessible appeal of the marine lifestyle with something for everyone, from adrenaline-fuelled watercraft, fishing vessels, and powerboats right up to superyachts and sailing catamarans.

A non-stop entertainment programme promises plenty of family fun with fishing demonstrations and competitions, cooking shows, live music, roving street performers, delicious food, vibrant bars, and a dedicated kids zone.

Presented by Mulpha Events, SCIBS is where ‘the marine business does business’ and its success is a reflection of the buoyant recreational boating industry.
