As soon as those frosty, dew-laden mornings hit you like a proverbial snowman in a snow fight, it's time to take off to warmer climates, right?
Far noth NT and QLD used to be my go-to for a mid- year icebreaker, but when putting together this issue of CARAVAN WORLD, i looked at other less than sub-tropical destinations to appreciate during the cooler months and take in the 'hygge' For those of you in VIC, SA, and WA, we have a couple of 'local' island hopping destinations to explore during winter: Tasmania and Phillip Island for family adventures, Kangaroo Island for some scenic hiking, and Dirk Hartog Island for the ultimate wild, wild west experience. Hit the road and stay cosy!
