Why choose an EMU dormitory? Success Statistical research has shown that students who reside in dormitories have a higher success rate than others.
Culture At EMU, we do our best to create an environment where student life becomes comfortable, pleasurable, and entertaining. Students can take advantage of the many social and cultural opportunities offered both within and around the university, and can participate in the activities of over 50 student clubs.
Security The campus is patrolled 24 hours a day by the University security personnel. In addition, each dormitory has its own security team.
Reasonable expenses Dormitories offer a much cheaper alternative than other forms of accommodation, as electricity, water, telephone, cleaning, and other similar expenses are included in the dormitory fees.
Internet facilities Students have the opportunity to work on computers and access the internet in their own rooms.
Sports facilities Our campus offers students the possibility of participating in all kinds of sports in the sports complex for indoor sports, the grass football pitch, the stadium for track and field events, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, the Astroturf football pitch, and the mini golf course.
A clean environment Rooms and areas for common use are cleaned regularly by staff and no detail is overlooked. Dormitories, where residents are not disturbed by the noise and traffic of the city, offer all the amenities needed for a clean and healthy living environment.
Transportation On campus, everything is within walking distance. In addition, bus transportation is provided between the campus and the city center.
Health Staff at the Health Center and the Psychological Counseling, Guidance, and Research Center serve our students free of charge, and are always ready to intervene in an emergency.
Communication Communication is easy with telephones in all rooms with internal and external access, pay phones in dormitory lobbies, free Email and Internet access, and, in many dormitories, TV or TV / antenna connection are available in the rooms.
Basic necessities An ideal living & study environment is maintained throughout the year thanks to power resources supported by generators, central heating and, in many dormitories central air-conditioning; and the largest water purification system in Cyprus is at EMU.
Life-long friendships Enduring friendships are established in a dormitory atmosphere where sharing is a way of life. Residents also have the added advantage of sharing the same living space with older students, and thus, have the opportunity to get help from them when they need it.
Nutrition Residents are able to cook either in their own rooms or in the common kitchens on each dormitory floor. In addition, students can safely eat in the cafeterias in the dormitories, and in the many other cafeterias and restaurants on campus, which are all under constant inspection.

The fees ¨ and $ are valid for 2014-2015 academic year. Alfam Dorm requires between 100 - 200 $ as a deposit. Students are required to pay a deposit of 150 $ for Akdeniz Dormitory, Homedorm Dormitory and 100 $ for Uğursal Dormitory as well as the set fee. The fees do not include summer school.
