Mummyfication process When in the past one Egyptian died they follow one process called mummyfication. 1.First they washed the body and removed internal organs except the hearth, because they thought that the hearth was more inportant than the brain. 2.Then they let the intergal organs to dry in canopic jars. 3.Next they covered the body with natron witch will dry it out. 4.After forty days they washed the body again and then they covered with oils. 5.Then they dehydrated internal organs, wrapped in linen and returned to the body. 6.And finally they covered again the body with oils and they wrapped in linen.
