The Challenge It can be difficult to ensure that everybody in a training organisation has a clear understanding of where they should be and what they should be doing at all times. It’s hard enough when things are going smoothly (all courses defined, all resources defined, all students informed) but when things go wrong (sick staff, equipment breakdowns, double bookings (rooms, trainers)) it can be a nightmare. During the life cycle of a course all news, updates and critical announcements may be sent to the correct student group. Event Manager’s Web Portal allows students to access secure areas of your organisations web site allowing them to download course material as needed.
Why Resource Planner? Whereas Event Manager is primarily focused on courses and course attendees, Enbu’s Resource Planner solves issues relating to scheduling and booking of key resources. All resources may be defined and their free/busy (booked) times may be easily viewed in a calendar on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Apart from being able to see free and busy times the Resource Planner ensures that you cannot double book! No more anguish as students from different courses arrive at the same room, no more frustration as a trainer suddenly discovers they should be in two places at once, in short, no more hassle.
