When completed later this year, Escalante Solar will bring 200-megawatts of power to members of Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, including Continental Divide and 10 other New Mexico cooperatives. This photo was taken in November at the site of the former 253-megawatt, coal-fired Escalante Generating Station in Prewitt. Tri-State retired the plant in 2020.
