In its 11th year, the free concert series Wednesdays@Noon is presented by the City of Encinitas to enrich the arts scene in Encinitas for residents, visitors, and cultural tourists from throughout the region. It has become the highest attended daytime series in the county with attendance of 160+ each week. The 50-minute concerts at the Encinitas Library feature outstanding musicians from throughout Southern California performing all styles of music. We hope to see you often! The list of prior performers includes the likes of jazz legend Peter Sprague, piano virtuosi Ines Irawati and Svetlana Smolina, as well as acclaimed groups such as the Peter Pupping Trio, MandoBasso, and Quartet Nouveau--to name just a few!

The most distinctive member of the young generation of Czech violinists, top-selling artist Pavel Šporcl has been triumphantly received by audiences in major music venues throughout the world, thanks to his rich classical background and dynamic stage presence. Dr. Isaac López and Dr. Andrés Jaramillo met in the music libraries of USC and have been collaborating ever since. Their mission is to take audiences on a musical journey exploring the rich history of classical music and bring to light the plethora of new classical music being composed throughout Latin America. Their concert will incorporate Afro-Latin Jazz music.

SAVE THE DATE! The iPalpiti Festival will return to Encinitas July 14-18, 2022 with over 20 musicians around the world to perform under the direction of Maestro Schmieder. The acclaimed ensemble of international musical soloists is often referred to as the “United Nations of Classical Music.” Mark Swed of the LA Times has said, “A world-class performance by young players with technique to burn.” Last year’s soloist concerts sold out, so watch for tickets to go on sale in May.
