Folks need to celebrate. Every culture has special days of thanks. Even amongst the deepest disasters and the hardest times, we celebrate. Such notions are rarely spoken of in the modern world, however they are still the stuff of legends. Have a beautiful, celebratory holiday season! It is doubtful that any of us will be running out to defend our country in the place of our ailing father. But as in ancient times, we are inspired to aspire beyond the expectations determined by our “reflection,” and perhaps a little more light may be shed on the dedicated and powerful women and men around us who continue to be motivated by devotion.
