The first quarter of 2016 in some ways produced differing results for the communities we serve most in the Indianapolis area. The market as a whole saw a 34% increase in home sales and a 3% increase in average sales price as compared to the same period in 2015, though when looking at specific cities and communities these numbers varied. For example, Carmel and Noblesville both had 10% and 11% increases in number of homes sold, while Fishers and Zionsville experienced fewer home sales compared to the previous year. Average sales price in those specific areas remain relatively consistent with no greater than 4% change in any city. Our Q1 2016 Market Report details these stats, as well as community specific info across the region.
