Partner at THNK – School of Creative Leadership Menno van Dijk is co-founder, first managing director and currently partner of THNK, the School of Creative Leadership, which offers international executive programs for social agents, commercial entrepreneurs and innovation managers focused on developing creative solutions to large societal challenges. In addition, THNK supports organizations with their innovation leadership development. As a latest THNK activity, Menno has co-founded ScaleUPNation, a multiyear program to support a portfolio of 20 young innovative enterprises to grow to impact at scale.

Senior Faculty at THNK – School of Creative Leadership Karim Maarek is a former participant and now Senior Faculty member at THNK. He is also founder of Teach to Fish – Spark to Crowd. With Teach to Fish, he has developed numerous personal leadership, concept development and crowd activation learning programs and is especially interested in accelerating sustainable and impactful ventures, believing that it takes powerful, heartful leaders to ignite the crowd. Karim is also founder of Creatyfus - Creative Lab for Impact Projects, an active member of Impact Hub Amsterdam and a Senior Fellow of Humanity in Action as well as an active volunteer with the Dutch Ster Foundation, aimed at improving children’s futures.

Co-founder and Managing Director Co-founder and the Managing Director of CAREEM, Mudassir Sheikha brings to the job his previous experience as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on strategy and business building. Prior to McKinsey, Mudassir spent a decade in Silicon Valley building technology startups and watching first-hand the rise of the industry. More recently, he was a co-founder of the product Device Anywhere, which was eventually acquired by Keynote Systems. Originally hailing from Lahore, Pakistan, he now calls Dubai home. He wants to go back to playing cricket when he has a moment to spare. Mudassir acquired a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

EDaura EDaura is a cloud-based learning tool with a mobile-first approach, used to enhance learning and teaching opportunities. EDaura gives educators and learners a set of tools with powerful analytics and assessments. To improve the educational process, EDaura offers chat communication, course & classroom management, content distribution, assessment (formative & summative), HTML5 content authoring, and reporting & analytics. These tools are provided on the EDaura app, accessible from any iPhone or Android, or on the web. Ekeif “Keif” means “how” in Arabic, and Ekeif is aiming to create the biggest video community of Arabic “how-to” videos through content creation and aggregation. In 5 years, Ekeif has launched their mobile app in September 2016 and has had more than 10K videos aggregated and 1000 videos produced. Ekeif currently has a total of 80M views and 366K total subscribers on all their channels.
Eon Dental Eon Dental’s flagship product is the eon Aligner, a clear alternative to traditional metal brace that treats dental malocclusion or crooked teeth. The eon Aligner is a full CAD/CAM orthodontic solution that uses a series of custom made and transparent dental trays that move teeth incrementally. Eon is one of the few manufacturers globally who use 3D Printers as primary component of the manufacturing process, utilizing a full digital work-flow to fabricate the system. Find Early Adopters Find Early Adopters helps companies understand why their customers leave their websites. FEA obtains feedback from realworld customers to help businesses and investors identify the problem in order to work towards a solution. The company asks independent people to record videos of their screens with voice comments while they are conducting specific tasks. First Complete Auto Parts Fcap is an importer of world renowned Spare Parts brands for both the industrial and automotive sectors in Saudi Arabia. Over the past 7 years the company has distributed parts through traditional wholesale and retail channels (Bricks and Mortar) approach of stocking and distribution to fulfill customers’ needs for parts. Recently Fcap has also launched a B2B Ecommerce marketplace to sell directly to end users. Forky Forky is a venture-backed, fast-growing, food-tech company that delivers delicious meals in 15 minutes. Through Forky’s web platform and mobile application, users choose between two main dishes each day, a salad, and various side orders from a menu of over 150 recipes of modern Greek cuisine. Forky is currently providing 900 daily orders. After securing the €700M Athenian market, Forky aims to expand in other big Mediterranean Metropolises. Friendture Friendture is a centralized location for friends and acquaintances, to create and manage their activities & events. Through this mobile app, group activities are simplified with a few clicks, reducing the need to create multiple and useless groups for each activity. Little Thinking Minds LTM is an award winning company that seeks to create and publish engaging educational and edu-taining Arabic content for children under 10 to advance the quality of Arabic fluency and literacy globally through creating and publishing engaging educational Arabic content for children including videos, apps and e-books and then tracking the data related to their products. Liwwa Liwwa, Inc. is a marketplace lender which focuses on small business lending. The company operates in Jordan and the UAE, with a software development and data science team in New York. Liwwa has lent roughly $2.3M to more than 100 companies in Jordan since March 2015 MadfooatCom MadfooatCom is an online, real-time bill presentment and payment service, which enables customers to inquire about and pay their bills anytime, anywhere. In 2014, the company won the exclusive tender of the central bank of Jordan to build, operate and administrate the electronic bill presentment and payment service (EBPPS) “eFAWATEERcom” nation-wide in Jordan. The service is now connected to 92% of the banks in Jordan, Post Office, JoMoPay (Jordan Mobile Wallets) and more than 65 billers including government, all utilities, all telecoms, and universities. Masmoo3 Masmoo3, established in 2011, is the first specialized Arabic digital Audio Books production and publishing house in the Arab world that offers Arabic speakers easy access to a digital Arabic audio library, to give those who do not read or cannot read a chance to get knowledge, and make listening to books an interesting experience.
