I’d say the event was pretty great. As a fresh graduate, I really enjoyed the fact that it broadened my horizons, available opportunities and engagement.
I think maybe we are so used to having a scarcity mindset that there isn’t enough space and there aren’t enough opportunities – but I really do think that if we look hard enough, and with support like this, there is.
I’m glad to be here and I encourage anyone else who sees this opportunity to seize it and attend this event as well.
So, my highlight was don’t limit yourself into saying, OK, I’m in a specific field. The sky’s the limit!

The YES! Youth Energy Summit will bring together 3,000 youths from across Africa to benefit from three days of jam-packed learning, training and job opportunities to help reduce the gap between academic studies and commercial reality, and ensure all attendees have the Access to Opportunity that will drive the energy sector in the coming years.
