Alentejo Coast

Known for the beautiful beaches and the amazing landscapes, Alentejo Coast, it's one of the most quiet and fantastic places to live or spend your holidays in Portugal. Provided with remarkable natural resources, Alentejo Coast region presents itself as an excellent geo-strategic location between the metropolitan area of Lisbon and Algarve. Comprising four municipalities: Alcácer do Sal, Grândola, Santiago do Cacém, Sines e Odemira.


Tr贸ia

Tr贸ia is considered a threasure in Alentejo Coast. A wonderful and golden sandy pen铆nsula surrounded by the atlantic ocean, with unique characteristics providing specials experiences to the visitors and local residents. Besides the wonderful landscapes over the ocean and the magnificent arr谩bida mountain you have the privilege of visiting and having contact with the dolphins of the sado estuary.


What to do: Observation of dolphins in the sado river, sailboat rides with different themes, aquatic

paintball , sand Paradise (ride surrounding Arrábida), sail, diving, kit surf, windsurf, paddle, golf, casino ( beyond the typical casino machines also have performances), bike tours, walking tours, birdwatching, archeology, Spa and horse riding.

What to visit: Roman ruins, Tróia Casino, Tróia Marine, Tróia Caldeira. Where to eat: Tróia Design Hotel, Aqualuz Hotel, Restaurante B&G, Púrpura Marina, Ribamar Tróia, El Cristo, O Pereira, Utopia Beach Club.



Comporta Comporta, designated by its peculiar characteristics matching with the countryside and the sea. Comporta is a well-known area through its beaches, but also has the rice fields and the wine cellars as reference areas. A small village located in Alentejo Coast, strategically centered near the big towns like AlcĂĄcer do Sal, Lisboa and SetĂşbal.

Alcåcer do Sal Alcåcer do Sal, a wonderful city that has a magnificent view over the sado river, a historical city where you can see all over the city through it’s castel. The lands and homesteads have very special characteristics. Also well known by the rice fields, Herdade da Barrosinha characteristic wine brand and the storks. Pine nut and honey are two traditional gastronomic relics very characteristic of the region.

Melides The magnificent Melides lagoon is a tourist destination for many visitors. Apart from its lagoon has the Melides beach and the Alentejo handicraft, the perfect souvenir to take home. Melides village still remains with traces of a typical Alentejo village, and it is possible to be dazzled with some more modern buildings.

Porto Covo

Porto Covo is located in Vincentian Coast where their beautiful beaches have a fantastic views to the peach tree island. Visiting the village we find a typical Alentejo architecture in an extremely well-kept village. Porto Covo Camping Park is located near the beach allowing a quick access to the beach. An idyllic destination to relax and experience a little piece of the Alentejo Coast. .


What to do: Boat tour, Sea Diving Baptism, Horse riding, Blue trail (jeep and local historic boat ), Train sightseeing , Segway Tours, Aquatic Sports

What to visit: Peach tree Island, Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, Larguinho de Porto Covo, Nossa Senhora Church, Necropolis

Santiago do Cacém

From the highest hill, the castle watches the sea and the houses that runs down the slope, extends through the valleys and grows out to meet Miróbriga roman unique legacy. Santiago do Cacém City, lady of a historical remarkable testament, it’s for sure for the geography and natural beauty, a place where we like to stay, because is to close to the sea like to the alentejo plain, so close to the past with their customs like the peaceful look to the future.
