HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT

“School has been hard for most of us, the time has flown by and we are already midsemester”, the speaker said. ”But where do you find yourself? Are you: understanding the content? Satisfied with your performance? Are you stable in your mind? Have you made time for God in your schedule?” The speaker reminds us race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. He continued, “wherever you are don't give up, don't doubt yourself or throw in the towel. Fight! Endure the challenges that come now, make the sacrifices now to live satisfied later. Nothing comes easy but if you remain determined and diligence you can finish well and achieve all your aspirations. But in all things we need the help and guidance of God to overcome. When doubts come, when you start to worry, pray. God cares about your progress in the semester and throughout life. He will help you if only you will ask and acknowledge him.”

PERSONAL TESTIMONY

“I had a slow start first year which resulted in me starting 3 weeks late in one of the most difficult courses, B.Eng Math2. It was hard playing catch up especially with how fast the lecturer was going, but God remained consistent, helping me along and surrounding me with people who could help. At the end of that semester I was among the top achievers, one of only seven students who passed the course of a class of 20+.” -David Smith
