Landis Valley Plans Auction Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum, 2451 Kissel Hill Road, Lancaster, will hold its second annual online benefit auction from Sunday, Sept. 12, through Saturday, Sept. 18. A preview of auction items will be available from Sunday, Sept. 5, through Saturday, Sept. 11. Landis Valley is a nationally recognized, living and working village and farm museum that showcases the lives and ingenuity of rural Pennsylvania Germans. Within the grounds, heritage farm animals and heirloom plant varieties can be found. The streets are populated with artisans and craftspeople who have remastered skills that were almost lost. Donations are currently being accepted for the auction. Proceeds will benefit Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. Donated items are tax-deductible. School Plans Chicken Barbecue Lancaster Mennonite School’s Locust Grove Campus, 2257 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, will hold a chicken barbecue on Friday, April 30, from noon to 6 p.m. A meal will include a half-chicken, a dinner roll, a baked potato, applesauce, and a beverage. Half-chickens will also be available separately. Volunteers will be masked and complete health screenings for COVID safety and precautions. Online presales at www.lancaster mennonite.org/locust-grove-bbq-regis tration/ will close on Friday, April 16. Meals may also be purchased at the event while supplies last. During the chicken barbecue, from 2 to 4 p.m., Lancaster Mennonite middle and high school jazz band students will showcase musical selections from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Marvin Gaye, and The Beatles.

Vendors Sought For Event Misfits on a Mission Relay For Life Team will hold a Cruise in for a Cure Car Show on Saturday, May 22, at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Terre Hill Community Memorial Park, 210 Lancaster Ave., Terre Hill. Vendors and crafters are sought. In addition, the event will include a car show, food trucks, giveaway and other drawings, and a disc jockey.
