Thanks to several projected snowstorms for Lancaster County in the last few weeks, many residents have visited their local grocery stores to stock up on essentials. The crew at Northwest

Emergency Medical Services (NWEMS) hopes that shoppers will visit their local markets again soon, but for a charitable reason this time around. NWEMS is planning its annual February Food Drive, which will run the entire month of February and will benefit

three local food bank organizations: the Community Cupboard of Elizabethtown, the Manheim Central Food Pantry, and the East Donegal/Conoy Area Christian Food Bank. These three organizations are located within the NWEMS service area. See Food Drive pg 4

For many years, Elizabethtown Public Library, 10 S. Market St., has served as a resource for individuals seeking work and those striving to achieve their dreams. Now, entrepreneurs and business people can use the library’s new Business Center on the second floor. The center is open to anyone for businessrelated purposes. The library transformed the secondfloor conference room into the Business Center, installing tables, office chairs, and a state-of-the-art copy machine and adding much of the library’s collection of business books and periodicals. In addition to the collection of businessrelated material and tables and chairs that can be arranged into individual work spaces or for large group meetings, limited quantities of office supplies are available for sale. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the library. See Business Center pg 6

The American Heart Association (AHA) has announced that National Wear Red Day will be marked on Friday, Feb. 1, as February is designated as American Heart Month. Individuals, workplaces, and landmarks across central Pennsylvania will “go red” in celebration of National Wear Red Day. The initiative aims to unite millions of people for a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke. Individuals are encouraged to wear red on Feb. 1 to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease. Participants are encouraged to share their efforts on social media using the hashtag #WearRedandGive. In 2004, the AHA created Go Red for Women, a social initiative designed to dispel myths and raise awareness of heart disease and stroke as the No. 1 killer of women, as well as to empower women to take charge of their heart health. Go Red for Women aims to encourage awareness of the issue of women and heart disease and also action to save more lives. In 2010, the AHA set a strategic goal of reducing death and disability from cardiovascular disease and strokes by 20 percent while improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent by the year 2020. For more information, readers may visit www.WearRedDay.org or http://GoRedForWomen.org.

Mount Gretna’s second annual Groundhog Day event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 2. A pancake and sausage breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. at Mount Gretna Volunteer Fire Department, 41 Boulevard Ave., Mount Gretna. Afterward, Mount Gretna Grady will arrive from his groundhog lodge, sporting his scarf and aviator cap with goggles. Grady’s weather prediction, based on whether he sees his shadow, will be announced. The fire department will offer children’s activities, and Grady souvenirs will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Mount Gretna Volunteer Fire Department.

Mount Gretna Grady will venture out of his groundhog lodge to announce his weather prediction during a Groundhog Day event on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Mount Gretna Volunteer Fire Department.

Day-Hershey

Food Drive

The marriage of Melissa Hershey and Daniel Day took place on Nov. 3 at Word of Life Chapel in Bainbridge. The bride is the daughter of Dean and Crystal Hershey of Elizabethtown. She graduated from Geneva College in 2012. She is employed by TE Connectivity in Middletown. The groom is the son of Gary and Sue Day of Gardners. He graduated from Shippensburg University in 2014 and the University of New Hampshire in 2016. He is employed by The Hershey Company in Hershey. After a wedding trip to Italy, Greece, Spain, the couple resides in Elizabethtown.

from pg 1 Donations may be dropped off at the NWEMS Manheim station, 60 W. Colebrook St., or the Elizabethtown station, 380 W. Bainbridge St. A local business has loaned NWEMS a shopping cart that will be located in the NWEMS Manheim lobby where donations will be collected. Community outreach manager Lori Shenk explained that when NWEMS was planning to organize its first food drive six years ago, February seemed like a good time of year. “This seems like a time of year when there is more need but less emphasis on donating,” Shenk commented. Food drive organizers reached out to the local food banks to ascertain the greatest needs. In addition to nonperishable food items such as canned fruit, canned or instant potatoes, pasta sauce, crackers, canned tuna or chicken, jelly, ground coffee, and bottled water or juice, other donations that will be accepted include toiletry items, such as laundry detergent, shampoo, deodorant, and tissues. A full list of most-needed items can be found at www.manheimcentralfoodpantry.org or on the Community Cupboard of Elizabethtown Facebook page. According to Shenk, volunteers gather in the first few days of March to sort the donations and divide them up between the food banks according to their needs. After sorting, approximately two ambulance loads of food will be delivered to each food bank. “People have been very generous,” Shenk said of previous years’ donations. Shenk shared plans for a future program that NWEMS is working to create with Lancaster EMS. The program, still in its infancy, will strive to serve individuals with diagnosis-specific nutrition needs, specifically those with strict income limitations. Initial efforts will focus on developing the program in partnership with the Community Cupboard of Elizabethtown. The service is slated to offer food items for individuals with diabetes, heart conditions, or other issues that require a specific diet. “Our hope is that we can develop a sustainable service that can be the model for expansion into other communities,” Shenk said. “This isn’t part of the February Food Drive, but we are starting to find ways to address these types of needs over the next year.” For more information on NWEMS and its service to the community, readers may visit www.nwems86.org.

“Over the last 16 years, (the train display) has brought joy to young and old alike who dream of trains while also helping us with our mission of increasing literacy in the community,” said Marian Fetter, chairperson of the library board. Craig Coble, a member of the Train Guys, echoed these sentiments. “(People) love the interactive display, and we hear kids chirping with glee at seeing so many interactive features,” he said. The library, the Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce, and Elizabethtown College, along with the college’s Social Enterprise Institute and High Center for Family Business, constitute a partnership that received the grant. “Local business owners and entrepreneurs who need a meeting space, or perhaps business students from Elizabethtown College who are doing research, will find a professional space in which to be successful,” Drury said. “We are pleased that we can help businesses succeed and contribute to the local economy.” The Destination E-town grant is from a $10 million BB&T Economic Growth Fund. At the warehouse, part of Strine’s job is to move the boxes groups of up to four participants make as one of a variety of duties they complete, from the area where they are constructed to another location in the warehouse. The more boxes the participants complete, the more trips Strine makes. “They keep me moving,” he said. “On a busy day, I do 20,000 steps in four hours.” According to ODC executive director Gregg Richards, the program is designed to give participants a chance to work in an integrated environment. “Small group employment is a crew of program participants who go to a workplace with a program supervisor and work side by side with employees of the local business, (where they) are paid at minimum wage or above,” explained Richards, who added that businesses may utilize a crew for seasonal work or on a regular basis. Strine said that ODC participants were carefully selected for the program based on skills. Over the course of a year, Strine worked to cull a list of 40 possible participants down to eight workers and four alternates. “They were competing for positions,” noted Strine, who added that the participants work four hours per day, clocking in and out and working alongside other Kinsey’s employees. Ken Mueller, public relations and development manager for ODC, said that the skill set of participants has been a good fit with Kinsey’s, which makes archery supplies and outdoor gear. Mueller added that many businesses have a variety of tasks that might also be a good fit for ODC individuals, including

The win was E-town’s fourth used a stifling defensive effort that straight while also giving the Lady Bears wins in six of their last seven games and as well as 11 of their last 13. Behind Lonardi’s career high 33 points, the Lady Bears controlled from the opening tip with the sensational senior collecting 11 of those 33 points during a 15-4 first quarter blitz. Donegal was able to post a 15-11 edge in the second but E-town still held a 26-19 lead at intermission. Elizabethtown stretched the lead back to double digits with their work in the Photo by Mark Palczewski The Bears’ Sydney Pierson outduels third, taking a 43-33 lead Warwick’s Jessica Williamson for a into the final frame. A 14rebound in E-town’s 43-29 win over the 12 Lady Indian edge in the frame set the final at 55host Warriors last Tuesday.

47. Sydney Pierson was the only other Lady Bear to hit double digits, finishing with 10 points. Back on January 17th Elizabethtown throttled Ephrata 65-27 thanks to an offensive explosion from Lonardi and Pierson. The duo combined to score 48 of E-town’s 65 points with Lonardi dropping a game high 28. Pierson picked up 20 with neither player scoring in the fourth quarter as the Lady Bears coasted to the 38-point win. WRESTLING The wrestling team dropped their final two dual matches of the regular season, falling to Garden Spot and South Western. Up first was a 64-4 loss to the Mustangs of South Western on January 21st. “They are a very solid team,” said head coach Mike Sernoffsky. “We were short a couple of wrestlers due to different circumstances.” Elizabethtown managed just one win on the day while forfeiting five weight classes. Cameron Olson was responsible for that win, topping Ethan Leitzel 12-4 in their 120-pound bout. Two days later the Bears fell to Cocalico by a 57-24 final. Elizabethtown closed out the match with three straight wins but losses in the first eight weight classes left E-town in a 45-0 hole with just six matches remaining. Boosted by the three straight wins to end the match, the Bears claimed four of those six starting with Bobby Walters pinning Aaron Martin at 138. Cole Rice was the next victor, pinning Ethan Eberly

26-seconds into the second period of their 160-pound match. Javan Thomas needed just 39 seconds to take care of Jacob Zook at 170 while Tyler Lanza finished things up with a 67 second pinfall win at 182. Looking back at a 3-14 season Sernoffsky explained, “We have not wrestled poorly at all. The wrestlers have continued to put forth effort every day. We have a small squad (12 wrestlers) and four had never wrestled at all before this season. A couple others have less than three years’ experience. Everyone on the team has continued to work hard and has improved throughout the year.” RIFLE Unbeaten no more. The E-town rifle team suffered their first loss of the 2018-2019 season on January 17th, falling to Manheim Township 496-494. “We didn’t shoot well,” commented head coach Dave Reinfried. “We have the capability. I think the youth of the team is starting to show up, I think the inexperience is starting to show up.” Elizabethtown posted two 100’s against Township with Arabella Albino and Matthew Risbon claiming the perfect scores. The troubles for the Bears were at the low end of the scoring five where Jagger Gilleland’s 97 was the final score while the Streaks had a low score of 98. Added in Cole Ginder’s 99 and Rachel Broomell’s 98 and Elizabethtown was left with their first loss of the season.

The youthful inexperience that Reinfried was alluding to was a slue of 100’s shot in practice before the Township match as well as a closer than expected 491-488 win over Governor Mifflin on January 22nd. E-town was without a perfect score against Mifflin with Marrie Smith and Albino topping the team with matching 99s. Gilleland and Tyler Chapman followed with a pair of 98s while Risbon checked in with a season low 97. Despite suffering the team’s first setback the Bears still reside in first place in the L-L standings with a 9-1 mark. “At the beginning of the season I was hoping to just have a winning record with so many new kids. So, to be where we are, I’m truly blessed. 9-1, who’d have ever thought. But like I said, the end is where it counts,” said Reinfried. BOYS’ BASKETBALL The boys’ basketball team is streaking with three straight wins including a 59-51 stunner over a Warwick squad that came into the January 22nd affair rocking a pristine 9-0 L-L mark. “We really prepared for that game because if Warwick won the game, they would have clinched the section championship on our floor and we just didn’t want that to happen. That was a big motivator for us,” said head coach Rocky Parise. The Bears took control of the game early with an 18-11 first quarter run before stretching the lead to 10 at halftime with a 12-9 edge in the second. A 15-15 stalemate coming out the break allowed Elizabethtown to maintain their

10-point cushion heading into the final frame. The Bears needed some of that cushion as Warwick held a 16-14 advantage in the fourth to make it an eightpoint E-town win. Elijah Eberly finished with 14 points to lead Elizabethtown while Amos Kollie was the only other Bear in double figures with 10 points. A few days earlier Elizabethtown enjoyed a 58-43 win at Ephrata. Despite the 15-point final margin, the Bears scored just nine points in the first quarter. “We didn’t get the start we wanted. We kind of fumbled the ball, and we missed some easy shots at the beginning of the game,” stated Parise, “but I still think we defended very well. That is something that has really improved, our defense. So against Ephrata, our defense won that game for us.” The opening quarter provided the evidence to back up Parise’s statement as the Bears held Ephrata to four points. Elizabethtown nearly kept the Mountaineers in single digits in two of the remaining three quarters, posting a 14-11 edge in the second and a 20-10 edge in the fourth. Add in a 17-15 Ephrata win in the third quarter and you have the 58-43 final. Locker dropped a game high 26 in the win while Pierson added 12 points. Take the Bears three game winning streak and add it with wins in three of the four games prior to that and you get six wins in seven games. That all adds up to a 11-7 overall record and a See E-town pg 12

Chargers Play Four Games in Seven Days by Leah Sintic

In last week’s packed schedule, the Lady Chargers got knocked down by three losses, but picked up a key CCAC conference win in the four-game mix. Concluding the week in a 59-26 loss to Lancaster Country Day on Thursday, the Charger squad fought hard, battling sickness, missing players, and an intense schedule, but fell behind early in the contest and were unable to string together enough momentum to tighten up the scoreboard. Tuesday’s 29-23 loss to Harrisburg Christian was a tough one to swallow for the Lady Chargers, as they fought their way back to within two (25-23) in the final quarter after trailing by as much as eight, but were unable to find the equalizer before time expired. After two unsuccessful Charger possessions that could have leveled the score, the Knights were able to extend their lead with free throw buckets and seal the outcome. “We certainly did not play our best basketball, but I am proud of the Photo by Cheri Sine effort that the girls showed in coming Kara Locker takes the ball to the basket for the Chargers during back to make it close at the end,” encouraged head coach Phil Ferrari. their CCAC game at Harrisburg Christian last Tuesday. Monday’s 36-10 win over West Shore Christian was only close for the first quarter, 11-7, before the Lady Chargers ran away with the victory, due in large part to their united defensive efforts.

“We started using our half court trap and changed how aggressive we were playing in the quarter court,” described Ferrari. “We started guarding much higher and made it hard for them to initiate their offense, allowing us to trap and go for steals.” The adjustments paid off, as they Chargers held the Bobcats to only three additional points in the remainder of the contest. Collectively the team’s defense produced 20 steals, with Kara Locker and Naomi Ewing combining for 11 of them. Locker paced the offense with 13, and Haley Witmer paired 10 points with 13 rebounds for a well-rounded contribution. The previous Friday’s home court loss to Christian School of York was a close match the entire way, but despite another strong offensive performance from Locker, the Lady Chargers came up just short, 27-25. Locker’s 17 points kept MC in contention for the win during all four quarters. CSY held a five-point lead just seconds before halftime, but Locker hit a buzzer beater from just inside the arc to cut the lead to 17-14 at the break. After a back-and-forth third quarter where neither team found much offensive success, the outcome was to be determined by the efforts of the final eight minutes.

A jumper from Julia Martin midway through the fourth evened the scoreboard at 22 apiece, giving the Chargers their first glimpse at a possible lead, but CSY managed to secure two more field goals to put MC at a 26-22 disadvantage with mere seconds remaining. Locker continued to strike down to the final second, knocking in another long-range bucket at the final buzzer to bring the team three points closer but just shy of enough, 27-25. “She played really well, and shot 40 percent,” credited Ferrari of Locker’s performance when the rest of the team was struggling to get shots to fall. “I think we learned a lot about ourselves, mainly that we cannot afford to take any opponent lightly, and that we need to bring our best all game, every game,” continued Ferrari. “Sometimes these lessons are only learned in defeat, so our hope is that the loss will serve its purpose and propel us as we push to make league and district playoffs.” Currently holding an overall record of 8-7, and CCAC record of 5-4, the remaining four contests of the regular season will hold a great deal of weight when it comes to post-season prospects. BOYS’ BASETBALL Inclement weather jumbled the Charger schedule a bit last week, but

did little to slow down the team’s momentum, as they dropped a nonconference contest but still managed to pick up an additional three CCAC victories, boosting their conference win streak to 9-0. The team wrapped up the whirlwind week by hosting Country Day on Thursday evening and came up just short, 66-53. Tyler Master registered nine of his 16 points in the second quarter, and Mount Calvary held the lead at the halfway point, 27-23. Unfortunately, Country Day hit their stride in the third, and went on a 21-10 run to overtake the Chargers, and extended their lead in the fourth. Hunter Stewart paced the offence in the second half, netting 11 of his 14 points after the break, and Jack Hilsher supplied a pair of treys in the fourth, but despite their strong efforts, the team was unable to erase the deficit. Two days prior, the Chargers visited the Harrisburg Christian Knights and returned home with the 81-29 conference win. “I was most pleased with the mentality of the team on offense; focusing on getting high-quality shots for each other,” noted head coach Kory Pruner. “The positive attitudes of our guys as they all had to give up playing time for each other was really good to see.” See Chargers pg 12

missed a lot of easy shots in the first half,” described Pruner of his halftime talk to his team. “But the biggest thing I told them is that I believed in them.” A totally different Charger squad took the court for the second half. Boosted by an enthusiastic gym full of fans, they rocketed ahead of CSY on an 11-0 run to open the third quarter, and rode the momentum wave through the entire eight minutes, only allowing the Crusaders a single field goal in the period. “We decided to run a full court press after made baskets, Photo by Cheri Sine and then kept changing defensJulia Martin leads the Chargers’ fast es to keep them off guard,” break during last Tuesday’s CCAC elaborated Pruner. contest with host Harrisburg ChrisA. 6-3 Section Two mark. The latter has E-town in prime position to secure the second and final L-L playoff berth from Section Two. The former has the Bears on the fringe of hosting a first round district playoff game courtesy of their ninth-place ranking. “It’s nice to be in control of our destiny at this point,” said Parise. “We just take one game at a time and hopefully the cards will fall from there.” BOWLING The bowling team rebounded from back-to-back losses to Warwick and Mifflin Country with three straight 7-0 wins. While the victories over McCaskey, Lampeter-Strasburg and Manheim Central were all of the 7-0 variety only the McCaskey win counted towards Elizabethtown’s Section Two record which is the fourth best in all of the L-L at 48-8. “I am very happy with the season so far, we are getting better each match, and showed we are still among the top teams in LL League,” said head coach Frank Telenko. SWIMMING The swimming teams are coming off double wins over Cocalico on January 22nd. The Lady Bears clobbered the Falcons 126-40, winning all but two events. Lexi Fink was the lone swimmer to claim two solo event wins, taking the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. Fink teamed with Gabby Walsh, Mackenzie Batche and Katie Locker to the win 200 medley relay before joining forces with Locker, Emily Kriner and Handshew to win the 200-freestyle relay. Camille Donahue, Brooke Heisey, Gabby Dabbs and Abby Alspaugh closed out the meet with a win in the 400-freestyle relay. Donahue added a win in the 500 freestyle, Locker in the 50 freestyle and Alspaugh in the 200individual medley while Lilly Rutkowski finished things up with a win in the 100 backstroke. Wins were harder to come by for the boy’s in their 88-82 victory. Ben

Working all players into the rotation, 11 MC athletes notched points on the scoreboard, with three players hitting double digits. Aidan Masters led the charge with 24, while Damian Rutt and Hilsher netted 10 apiece. Rutt balanced his scoring surge with contributions on both ends of the floor, grabbing four rebounds and three steals. Chip Stambaugh netted nine points, but it was his shooting percentage that was a standout, hitting three-of-three field goals and three-of-three free throws for a perfect 100 percent shooting average in the contest. Sam Robinson was another high accuracy option for the Chargers, shooting 80 percent, nailing four of his five field goal attempts. Harrison Crick had as many steals as points, tallying five of each, while handing out three assists. Twenty-four hours earlier, though temps outside might have been in the single digits, the Chargers were on fire during Monday’s 80-32 triumph over West Shore Christian in Shiremanstown. “We pushed the ball and ran an organized fast break,” explained Pruner regarding the team’s explosive offense. “They worked to get the ball into the post, and did well staying organized which allowed us to continue to score points.” A. Masters may have blazed the way on offense with his game-high 18 points, but a diverse and shared offensive strategy was evident, as an impressive 13 different MC players contributed to the scoreboard. Stambaugh netted 10 points, followed by Evan Barnes with eight. Stewart pulled down eight rebounds in addition to knocking in seven points. T. Masters once again paced the defensive efforts picking up three steals, complimented by dishing out three assists on the other end of the floor. During a home court appearance to kick off last week’s hectic schedule, MC claimed their seventh conference win of the season with a 52-35 takedown of the Christian School of York Crusaders. The final scoreboard, which tipped heavily in favor of the Chargers, gave little indication of the comeback story of the contest. After struggling to find their shot in the first half, the MC Photo by Cheri Sine found themselves trailing the CruMt. Calvary’s Haley Witmer looks to put a rebound back up dursaders, 19-15, at the halfway mark. “I mentioned to them that we ing the Chargers’ CCAC matchup with Harrisburg Christian last needed to finish better inside as we Tuesday in Harrisburg.

A few days prior the Bears earned a split with Conestoga Valley with the girl’s side posting a 98-71 win while the boys took a 92-78 loss. Locker and Fink led the way for the Lady Bears with each picking up a solo win while taking part in the winning 200 freestyle relay. Handshew and Kriner formed the other half of the relay team while Locker claimed the 50 free and Fink the 100 backstroke. While the boy’s team was unable to collect an event win, they did finish second in all but two events with the highlight coming in the 50 freestyle. It was there that Azzalina turned in a hand timed 21.95 which head coach Chad Houck describe as “an awesome race.” “I’m really proud of the girl’s team and the way they’ve got up to race this year and filled out the lineup top to bottom with committed swimmers,” said Houck. “Our boys’ team lacks the same depth as our girls, but in comparison to the rest of the league, we look like the Mariana Trench. It’s really a benefit to be able to put three guys in every event and score with two relays against most of our opponents.”

Group To Play Jazz And More Club 42 will welcome Mwenso and the Shakes to the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster, on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. The show will be held in the Atrium. Mwenso and the Shakes is a troupe of global artists that plays jazz, global music, African and Afro-American music and more. The group borrows from the stylings of Fats Waller, Muddy Waters, James Brown and many other American musical legends. Originally from places such as South Africa, Madagascar, France, Jamaica, Greenwich Village and Hawaii, the group’s members all now reside in Harlem. Born in Sierra Leone, Mwenso immi-

grated to London at the age of 10. As a young boy, Mwenso was introduced to jazz and African-American music through his mother’s work and found himself in a unique position to watch performances by well-known American jazz musicians, including saxophonist Benny Carter, bassist Ray Brown and drummers Elvin Jones and Billy Higgins. By 15, he had met James Brown, who invited him on stage to sing, dance and play when the rhythm and blues great came to London. Mwenso began performing as a trombonist and singer at the age of 12 and shortly thereafter met Wynton Marsalis, who in 2012 brought him on as a curator and programming associate at Jazz at Lin-

coln Center where, for four years, he booked after-hours sets at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. Since his residency, Mwenso has been primarily working with the Shakes. The event will offer intimate table seating and the option to purchase small plates to enjoy during the concert. To purchase tickets and for more information, readers may visit www.artsmu.com or call 717-871-7600. Tickets are also available in person at the Ware Center box office on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the Student Memorial Center, Room 103, on the Millersville University campus on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 12 new volunteers are Jason Burkholder, Lititz; Diane Gottlieb, Lebanon; Teresa Caruthers, Ephrata; Bev Kennel, Willow Street; Adele Ruszak, Lancaster; Jordan Schonhaut, Millersville; Sherri Stauffer, Manheim; Terri Small, Lancaster; Sophia Wanner, Lancaster; Liz Yocum, Millersville; Linda Williard, Lancaster; and Lisa Wood, Lancaster. CASA of Lancaster County trains community volunteers to be qualified, compassionate advocates for abused and neglected children within the court system. Advocates fight for and protect a child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to learn and grow in the security of a loving family. CASAs are asked to meet with

the child regularly and are authorized to interview people in the child’s life, such as social workers, attorneys, and teachers. They attend court hearings with the child and report their findings to the judge. Over the course of 2018, CASA volunteers advocated for 325 children, and 92 children are now with their forever families. Information sessions have been set for Monday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. at United Disability Services, 2270 Erin Court, Lancaster, and Thursday, March 14, at noon at New Joy Church, 35 New Joy Drive, Ephrata. Each program will not exceed one hour. The sessions are free and open to the public, but preregistration is required due to limited seating. Additionally, the next advocate training session will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 20. To learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer or to preregister to attend an information session, readers may contact CASA by calling 717-208-3280 or emailing casa@casalancaster.org.
