Divine Nutrition opens in Reading
Divine Nutrition, a provider of healthy meal replacement shakes, along with teas and wellness coaching, has announced the grand opening of its newest health cafe in Reading. The new location will serve as a hub for community members to gather, refuel and prioritize their health and wellness goals.
The grand opening of Divine Nutrition, located at 8 N. Fourth St. in Reading, took place on June 30. Among those in attendance was Reading Mayor Eddie Moran, who cut the ribbon to officially open the new location.
Divine Nutrition goes beyond providing nutritious products by offering personalized wellness coaching. Certified coaches are on hand to guide customers on their health journey, offering advice, support and customized plans to help individuals achieve their desired results.

For now, Vasselli is getting to know the Berks County Public Libraries and Boone Area Library staff members, including Sarah Terry, youth services coordinator. “She’s really works so hard to build up the community, and they come back again and again,” Vasselli stated. “I have utmost faith in her programs and abilities. It has been amazing getting to know the extent of her knowledge and capabilities.”

Aryanna Weller of Birdsboro received her diploma from Westminster College in New Wilmington during the school’s 169th commencement ceremony on May 13 on the Weisel Senior Terrace of Old Main. Weller graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in biology and Spanish.

Spring City Borough will receive $47,793 for the Brown Street Park improvements, which will include four ADA parking spaces, an accessible path from the new ADA spaces to the picnic pavilion and playground, replacement of the mulch playground surface with an ADA safe play surface, modifications to benches to make them accessible and the addition of two pieces of all-inclusive play equipment within the existing playground.
The French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust will receive $112,200 for a 37.6-acre conservation easement on the Nesspor farm in East Coventry Township.
The Open Land Conservancy of Chester County will receive $50,000 for the
Lorimer Preserve Stream Restoration project, which involves the removal of an earthen dam; the creation of a stream with natural meanders, with banks reinforced and vegetated to withstand severe occasional flooding; restoration of the trail network; and installation of a stream crossing.
Chester County has funded the preservation of more than 64,000 acres of farmland, open space, nature preserves and parks in partnership with farmers, municipalities, nonprofits and landowners in all 73 municipalities.
Hagans Family to perform
As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, Fivepointville Bible Conference will present the singing Hagans Family in concert on Saturday, July 22, at 6 p.m. The program will be held rain or shine in the enclosed tabernacle, located at 528 Chapel Lane in Denver. A freewill offering will be received, and food will be available.
The members of the Hagans Family, based in Kinzers, have been singing together since 1991. Delivering the sound of a traditional gospel quartet, the family has recorded in Pennsylvania and, most recently, in Nashville, Tenn.
