SECTION 1 — KINDERGARTEN-ADULT COMMITTEE Chairperson — Stephanie Huber - 717-587-6809 - stephaniehuber78@gmail.com ENTRY TIME: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2 - 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. ONLY PICKUP TIME FRIDAY AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE SHOW 8:30 - 10:00 p.m. and SATURDAY 8:00 a.m. - Noon 1. ALL ENTRIES FOR ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY A. Must be the work of the exhibitor from Lancaster County. B. All exhibitors are required to have a NEW Exhibitor number before entering any exhibits. C. All art/photo work must not have been previously shown at the Manheim Farm Show. D. Exhibits may be created since November 2021 - Exhibitor age at time of creation is the age bracket to enter exhibit under. 2. The committee reserves the right not to give awards if the category is not adequately exhibited. 3. The committee may refuse any entry not worthy of exhibition or deemed not fit to a category. 4. Decisions of the committee are final. All art work must not be made from a manufactured object. Paint by number and model kits will not be accepted. 2. All Youth work in Class 1-4 must not be framed. 3. All Adult work except stretched canvas must be framed or matted. Framed work must be wired for hanging with a sturdy and reliable wire. 4. All paintings must be dry. All chalk, pastels, and charcoal drawings should be sprayed with fixative to avoid smudging. 5. Should these guidelines not be followed, the committee will assume no responsibility if the piece is damaged. 6. Art exhibitors may enter three items, but no more than one per category. All photography must be 8"x10" with no mat or frame work. 2. Protective sleeve will be provided at the time of entry. 3. Exhibitors may enter three (3) items, but no more than one (1) per category. 4. Digital images are not to be altered or modified which includes filters and cropping Except in Category H. 5. Subject matter deemed inappropriate or offensive by the farm show will not be accepted or may be removed.
