Parishioners at Historic St. Mary’s Church view the “Eucharistic Miracles of the World” exhibit when it was brought to their parish in 2013.
St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, will present showings of the Vatican International’s exhibition of “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” through Sunday, Oct. 17, in St. James Parish Hall. All community members are invited to view this exhibit, no matter their religious affiliation. Admission is free.
Presentation hours include Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 13 and 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15 and 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Oct. 17 from noon to 7 p.m. The presentation may be viewed by using the St. James Parish Hall entrance, located at the back of the church.
This display showcases, through photos and detailed descriptions, more than 170 Catholic Church approved Eucharistic miracles from all over the world, throughout the centuries. The original exhibit premiered in Rome in October 2005. The exhibit is locally sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 10827, as well as Holy Family Radio AM 720, Lancaster Catholic High School, and the Lancaster Region Order of Malta. This exhibit was inspired by a website documenting the Eucharistic miracles, which was created by Blessed Carlo Acutis. Carlo was an Italian teenager who was beatified in October 2020. Forty hours of Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist will be held in the main church for Catholics beginning on Oct 15.
