White Collar Criminality and Upper Class Rationality The pervasive existence of upscale criminal behavior throughout U.S. society reaches from the boardroom to the courtroom. Such perversity does not stop at the steps to the state capital just because a hallowed quotation hangs over the portico. In addition, regardless of an "infotainment" culture's fixation on street crimes, the devastating impact of "white collar" corruption deteriorates the very core of the American political and economic system. While violent crimes are serious, the institutional destructiveness in corruptive collusions remains callously counterproductive in extraordinary ways. It threatens the demise of the republic and hastens human regression toward eventual extinction. With an amative sense of entitlement for what they "deserve", the criminality is one of easy rationalization, for the sake of self-gratification. For the public, as in mainstream media, the fascination with news reports of horrific crimes, such as murder, rape and robbery, distracts from the necessity of attentive mindfulness for the serious nature of corporate and political criminality. Arrogance in selfishness for personal pleasure in the satiation of advantage over others
is not a new phenomenon. American history is filled with myriad examples of the salaciousness by which some people use their socio-economic position to exploit, oppress and manipulate others.
tizing sharing, caring, giving and receiving, you might ponder the debauchery of the dogmatic hypocrisy. For the scales of justice, where is the slant?
In terms of societal costs, data is frequently difficult to summarize relative to non-street level criminality. For the corporate and political criminal, the amount of social damage they inflict is a cultural cost figure that is not an exact measurement. Some thirty years ago, one calculation by a national business organization put the cost factors in the range of $40 to $50 billion annually. Dollar losses to the American taxpayer by comparison to street crimes, today "white collar" crime is likely a 100 times greater. Major offences include crimes such as bribery, fraud, kickbacks, and secuWhere a small disproportionate rities violations and assorted other number of powerful, socially well- related criminalities, with the costs established and influential people that are much higher. control a majority of earthly resources, there are plenty of Currently some research sources opportunities for illegality. However, that information may not account for the total damage and losses instigated via the internet, identity theft, computer hacking, etc. Fraudulent consumer schemes are the tip of the proverbial human "iceberg" of criminal perpetration. In endless ways, people exploit each other by horrific means. Upper class, upper world or upscale criminal behaviors, whatever descriptor you choose, reflect premeditated intentional purposes to perpetrate "antisocial" unlawful behaviors on the majority. As in all criminal behavior, the criminal thinking processes are the result of freely chosen actions that bring harm to others for personal gain. By private desire, individual proclivity, targets of opportunity and skilled ability, higher social realms of criminality inflict grievous harms upon society.
By similar frame of reference, the aforementioned crimes illustrate some of examples of the corporate and institutional aspects of non-traditional criminalities. Such are by no means the limits to which greedy, arrogant and self-righteous criminals go to ensure their own personal gains. Of course, there are further incident types that can be more invasive and deadly. Unsafe products for instance, recalls, injuries and deaths, could potentially add several billions in costs to the losses inflicted upon others. In ENIGMA

addition, there is still more in terms of organized crime, terroristic and cultic collusions, human trafficking, religious frauds and schemes. Do not forget environmental crimes as well. By ruthless and predatory practices, purposeful and deceptively premeditated, con artists inflict their illicit schemes across a diverse opportunistic spectrum. From the misfortunes of climatic catastrophe, to war profiteering, criminals exploit every opportunity throughout the social culture. Herein, let us use "white collar" crime as a catchall term for the illicit activities of individuals and organizations. Some might suggest a distinction between what constitutes "corporate crime" versus "white collar" criminality, but for purposes here, we will blur any such variations. Illegalities directed against others, whether by one or more persons, in or by a particular organization, or institution, by malevolent means of position, power and influence, etc., gain is maximized regardless of harm, constitutes so-called "white collar" crimes. These cunningly premeditated malicious actions are not within the usual conception of traditional crimes, like murder, rape and robbery. Regardless though, the effects on other people are just as dangerous and socially regressive. Whether upscale or lower scale, the criminal's purposes remain the same. Criminal causality surfaces from the deepest realms of selfishness within the individual. On a prurient level of self-gratification, it is about them, getting what they want, and taking shortcuts to get it. Crimes perpetrated are for the material and mental benefit of the lawless person or persons. Collectively, his or her conspiratorial aims may involve collaborators in a larger scheme to defraud community processes. There are no excuses, fabricated alibis or scapegoating mitigations, for the illicit degradations committed that harm other people. As mentioned at the outset, "upscale" means political, social and economic placement at a higher level than

the "average" person in society has access. It is used here to refer to those who have an unequal advantage over others by political "inheritance", patronage, economic ascendency, or social class status. Some use descriptive terms as an "oligarchy of the wealthy", the American "political nobility", or the "new elites", which encourages a sense of entitlement. Of which, some will use to their greater enrichment.
Bogus, counterfeit and deceptive practices, prognoses and predictions quicken the pace by which a culture eventually destroys itself. alizations that scheme an illicit gambit of social deterioration. Nevertheless, for the heroic few, those who endeavor to change themselves over time, without fixation on the materiality of primal satiation, are those who more clearly see the illusions of the malevolence. By the virtue of wise ethical precepts in liberated individuality, with insistence upon enlightened transformation, purposeful from inner depths of maturation and willful selfless perseverance, become more evolved than the rest. Some see the folly of the gluttonous self-indulgence in selfish gratification. Regardless, along the vast reaches of the social spectrum, among various levels of elitism, there are the devolving perpetrators of societal degradation. Competition colludes in varying degrees, whereby the accumulation of fame, fortune and fiction, transgresses against the good intentions of others. Within those regressive ranks of exploitation of deceitful opportunists, the oligarchs of wealth will use any means to tyrannize others for continued enrichment. In the upper tiers, who is punished for their crimes?
So-called "white collar" criminality spans many areas of communal interactions, as well as societal institutions, and encompasses a range of unethical and unlawful behaviors. The looting of the taxpayer at all levels of government, to ensure non-failure of corporate criminals, absent sure and swift prosecution, aids and abets the devolution of the human species. Never mind what some politicians pontificate about "work harder", "get better educated", to encourage success and consume more. Consider that living among us, the best educated, most successful, richest, powerful and very influential, perpetrate the most heinous financial crimes imaginable. Not unlike the affinity for illicit hedonistic proclivities of their street level counterparts, the upper class criminal remains just as arrogant, self-indulgent and ruthlessly selfish. Egoistic in every calculating and deceptive way, the "chairborne" criminal sees easy rationalization in over-simplifying his or her crimes. Abuse of others is amatively exciting.
ety to every extent possible. They will use every ruse anyone chooses to believe, with ready accomplices everywhere. One such successful mega sphere of adverse influence, and accessory to untenable excuses, to aid and abet the criminal, is the vast interwoven collaborations of the "psycho-medical-pharmaceutical industrial complex". From psychologist to psychiatrist, to medical "treatment" and psychotropic cureall medication, any excuse for a price can be easily conjured. Alibis for criminality come in all kinds of prevarications. With little or no regard for others, the cultic conspirator, the gangland mobster, the terroristic ideologue, the self-help guru, as well as the upper class monopolist, all fit within the willful deviance of hedonistic gain. They share kinship with their street level criminal counterparts. Controlling and otherwise diminishing any semblance of empathy for others, for the satiation of egoistic centeredness, and to facilitate primal urges, the con artist smugly revels in his or her "dog eat dog" purposefulness. Make no mistake contrary to popular depiction the so-called "psychopath" is not that different from the neighbor next door. Deception is the game and personal gain is their fame. Everyone develops some capacity for deceiving another person. We all do it in different ways given particular circumstances, based on personal belief systems, and contingent on goal orientation. For one who chooses to cross the line of civility, he or she is selfish and expects to get his or her way no matter what it takes.
At the same time, they enjoy the enrichment, the psychological gain, and naturally the profit from the suffering others. However, for the vast majority of people, wishful thinking pursues the illusion that everyone is "basically good", and there's always an "excuse" for the intentional victimization of others. Regardless, debasing poverty pervades a world civilization that should have ascended ages ago. Factions, states and religions war as they always have centuries long past. DENVER - The TSA said a 20-minute evacuation at a Denver airport was caused by wedding favors labeled “TNT” and designed to look like explosives. The Transportation Security Administration said in an Instagram post an agent monitoring the X-ray machines for checked luggage at Denver International Airport Sept. 22 noticed a bag contained small glass bottles bearing wax tops and fuses. The bag was opened and the bottles were found to be labeled “TNT.” The airport
was evacuated for 20 minutes while bomb specialists examined the items, which turned out to be novelty wedding favors containing bath salts. The TSA said agents discovered the bride and groom’s names both started with “T,” leading to the “TNT” label. “Be mindful of what you’re traveling with and what it might appear as on an X-ray monitor,” the TSA said in its Instagram post. Apple Valley Police said the man’s face was partially obscured by the pad when he broke into the Battery Mart after it closed Monday, but surveillance footage was clear enough for officers to identify him as Gary Victor, 51. Victor, whom police said they have dealt with in the past, was arrested Tuesday. Police said they believe he may have been under the influence of intoxicating substances at the time of the break-in. yes, that is in fact that’s what he was trying to conceal his identity with, and he didn’t do a very good job,” police spokeswoman Trish Hill said. LAS VEGAS – A young woman is being questioned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation after allegedly smoking and drinking during a flight from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Honolulu, Hawaii. Kristin Sharp, who works as a real estate agent, admitted that she smoked an e-cigarette and fought with flight attendants. The incident unfolded on Allegiant Air flight after she allegedly threw a can of soda. Sharp said that she threw the can of soda, but it missed the garbage bin. One passenger told police that Sharp was drunk and belligerent. She swore and exposed her breasts before throwing the soda can at employees. Sharp’s boyfriend, Bryant Clark, was on the flight as well. He called her a good person. He defended her actions, saying that she was tired and a bit grumpy. So far, Sharp has not been charged with a crime, but the FBI is still investigation the incident as most airlines do not allow using an e-cigarette during a flight. WARMAN, Saskatchewan - Police in Saskatchewan said an unruly goat that insisted on sleeping in the entrance to a Tim Horton’s was “arrested” while officers sought to find its owners. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police of Saskatchewan said two Warman officers were called to the Tim Horton’s early Sunday by employees who said they repeatedly led the goat out of the eatery, but the animal would just come back in through the automatic doors and try to take a nap in the entrance. “The [RCMP] members believed he was just cold and he decided to lie down and wanted to sleep in the entrance. He was ‘arrested’ and escorted into the police vehicle. He was very unhappy with this so the members decided to take him home instead of to holding cells at the detachment,” the RCMP said. The RCMP members went door-todoor but were unable to identify
the goat’s owners and Animal Control officials told them the agency doesn’t typically deal with goats. The wayward goat was taken to a local animal hospital, where it was later reunited with its owners. ELLSWORTH, Maine - Police in Maine said a small dog was to blame for driving its owners pickup truck into a lake by knocking the vehicle out of gear. The Ellsworth Police Department said the Yorkie’s owner had been walking the dog around Branch Lake Saturday afternoon and he put the canine back into his pickup truck while it was idling. Lt. Harold Page told the Ellsworth American the dog “knocked the truck out of gear and it rolled down the parking lot into the lake.” The Ellsworth Police Department said in a Facebook post the dog was rescued from the submerged pickup by a woman who is a friend of the owner. “The truck was fully submerged and without the quick response of the family friend the man would have lost his companion. She is a hero in my book,” the post said. Police said the pickup was fished out of the lake by a towing crew, but the vehicle was considered a total loss. MICHIGAN - A man in Michigan is lucky to be alive after his stunt set not only his car but the gas station pump he was parked at on fire. Security video shows the unidentified man bending over and applying the lighter to the side of his vehicle, right next to the open gas tank. An employee at the gas station hit the automatic stop button and quickly called the fire department. The man grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the flames before firefighters arrived. Somehow, the man was not seriously injured and the damage to the gas station was contained to one pump, which was destroyed. He admitted to investigators that he saw a spider crawling on his gas tank and tried to burn it alive with his lighter. Surprisingly, the man was not embarrassed to come back to the gas station the following day to apologize.

Political Gumbo With the first Democratic presidential debate finally less than a week away, it seemed like a good time to whip up a batch of political gumbo… …Vice President Joe Biden hasn’t announced his candidacy (yet), but the prospect of him facing Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders is fueling lots of speculation. At this point, anything is possible and making predictions is tricky. If Hillary can’t dodge the fallout from her whole private email server mess, Sanders’ campaign coffers will reap the benefit. A Biden run could siphon off enough support from Ms. Clinton to enable a Sanders nomination. I’m really looking forward to seeing Hillary and Bernie on the same stage next week…
…The Dems’ also-rans — Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee – will get limited exposure at the debate, but they’re just in it for the occasional sound bite and their own ego gratification. O’Malley was only polling at two percent in his home state of Maryland last week, but blames the Democratic National Committee’s streamlined debate schedule for his low recognition nationwide. MONEY MANAGEMENT
HOW CAN YOU RECEIVE VENTURE CAPITAL? An effective way to receive the venture capital that you need is by selling your business to the venture capital (VC) firms. But of course, you should never approach those venture capitalists empty handed. Keep in mind that VC firms will have to evaluate the viability of your business, first based on your business plan and second from your business pitch. More importantly, VCS are more likely to venture with you if they see these four important qualities in your business: disruptive technology, potential for fast growth, well-rounded business model, and top performing management team.
Supposed that you have managed to meet those four qualification criteria, your next task is to curate the negotiation process between your company and the VC firm. Present your business plan putting more emphasis on the profit generation aspect. Also remember that VCs would only give you that venture capital fund if you are going to share with them a slice of the pie - or a percentage of your equity. Therefore, you have to be wary of the terms and conditions being proposed by the VC firm for that could affect your control over your business in the long run.
you accept our offer, you can have that venture capital fund. Your goal should be simple as well: Receive a good offer. And to achieve it, here are the important matters that you need to prepare. Write your business plan well.
Starting a business is difficult but so is writing a business plan. All the transactions, events, projections, assumptions, and SWOT of your business, you need to put them in writing in such a way that it would convince the VCs to seed money. VCs want their money back doubled, tripled or more in the span of 3 to 7 years. Knowing The rule of the VCs is simple: If this, you have to show on your financial projections that you can at least break-even within the first or second year. The rest in your business plan is proving them that your business is worth the investment.
Venture capital is a big industry. Venture capital funds are raised by venture capital firms from wealthy individuals, companies and private investors. Today, major players in this market don't stop looking for startups and small businesses that could give them high returns. If they see your business selling high, they will approach you to offer the venture capital funds. So idea here is this: Make your business shine so that the VCs could easily find and back you. Sell your business with full confidence.
A real entrepreneur knows his business more than anybody else. Whether you're a startup or a company ready to launch your IPO next month, you can receive that venture capital if you will sell your business with high level of entrepreneurial skills. While these money matters are already discussed in the business - Paul B Hata plan, VCs would want to hear you stating the same facts and figures in your ten minute business pitch. Expect drill-down questions like "Why three years for that ROI, why not two?" or be ready to give your best explanation when they tell you "What you're asking is too much (or too little)." Cowboys Work Overtime to Lose
There is no joy in Mudville! Oh wait! This past Sunday, in the eastern quadrant of the sports entertainment complex the Dallas Cowboys share with their baseball brethren, the Texas Rangers, there was plenty of joy being spread around by the 45,772 fans who jubilantly witnessed their home team claim the AL West crown with a 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Meanwhile down in the Big Easy, the New Orleans Saints ended an eight-game home skid with a thrilling 26-20 overtime win against the Dallas Cowboys. This Romo-less team is headed toward at least a six-game losing streak after winning its first two. Management and coaches have lost complete faith in their second-string quarterback ever leading them to victory while QB Tony Romo rehabs his shoulder. The 2015 season is slowly washing itself out for Dallas despite the fact they are tied for the division lead. They won’t be after their next opponent, New England Patriots, leave town.
No one believes this Brandon Weeden-led offense will ever win a game. The Dallas media is trying to place all the blame on the defense, but that’s not fair. The inept offense continues to sputter settling for field goals instead of touchdowns. Despite the pretty pass Weeden threw to receiver Terrance Williams – who finally held on to a pass to score a touchdown – the Cowboys have no running game to speak of. This is keeping the beleaguered defense on the field to long. Opponents are now figuring out that Dallas will start out fast and fade in the second half of ballgames.
And there is no end in sight to the onslaught the Cowboys are about to face, not with New England, the Giants, Seattle and the Philadelphia Eagles already geared up to face this team. Even games against Tampa Bay and the dysfunctional Miami Dolphins look iffy now. Throw in Carolina, Green Bay, Buffalo and the Jets, and you can see pretty quickly that the Dallas Cowboys will be lucky to get to 4-12 this year before the season merciIt’s a pretty safe bet that when the fully ends. injured tandem of Tony Romo and Dez Bryant return to active duty So much for the playoffs!
