The Easter Bunny is Counting on YOU to Deliver Easter Joy!

The Georgia Family Connection Partnership estimates that more than 2000 Cherokee County children live in poverty. help the easter Bunny deliver baskets full of happiness to those children this year. Det A ils:

u u u u u handmade or purchased baskets are welcome. Fully loaded baskets may be wrapped in clear plastic. Candy must be contained in the original, sealed packaging. Prefill all baskets before drop-off. Do not gift-wrap contents. B A sket Content iD e A s: (Easter related items only, please.) u easter candy (in original, sealed packaging) u easter coloring book u Crayons u Color pencils u easter socks u easter puzzles u Bunny, lamb, or chick stuffed animal u Toy easter eggs (no real eggs, of course) u easter books (ages 1-12) Donations are welcome at the Recreation Center during regular business hours from March 1 through March 29, 2021. Deliveries will also be accepted at the Flashlight easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 20.

FLAShLIGhT eGG huNT

Switch up the normal easter egg hunt for an adventurous Flashlight egg hunt! Meet the easter Bunny, explore the Kid Zone, make and take crafts, dance to music, enjoy vendors and get your face painted. Food vendors will be available for purchase. Flashlights, and some baskets are provided! Date: Saturday, March 20 Check-in: 6:00 p.m. The Hunt: 8:00 p.m. Location: Cherokee Veterans Park Ages: Up to 12 years of age Children will be separated by age for the hunt. no need to cook dinner tonight! Unwind with family and friends at the park. here you’ll find a variety of food trucks, live music, and plenty of state-of-the-art playground equipment. Special monthly activities might include axe throwing, bounce houses, cornhole tournaments, trivia, archery, and more.
