The eno blade速 rotor blades, which are tailored to wind farm operations, alongside the turbulence-resistant design of the support structure and drive train components allow for small distances between the wind turbines and reduce sectoral shut-downs. 97+ High availability The eno live.train速 concept guarantees excellent reliability and durability of all drive train components in the turbines of the 4 MW-platform: the four-point bearing of the rotor, which is unique in this class, and the hydraulic gearbox suspension keep the bending and force loads safely away from the gears. Furthermore, redundant cooling and inverter systems ensure that the turbine remains fully operational, even if individual subsystems should fail.
Best possible grid properties With the proven combination of the full power converter and the multipolar, externally excited, synchronous generator, the turbines in the 4 MW-platform soundly and reliably continue during grid faults. The generous idle power reserves emphasise the excellent grid compatibility of the turbines in terms of flicker and harmonics without additional filters or compensation devices. With these properties, the turbines in the 4 MW-platform competently meet all established grid connection requirements.
