Evaluation Living Lab evaluation through the ENoLL evaluation process / Training report
1. Mentoring (presential or online)
Mentoring provides the clients with expert(s) who will be with them along the journey of developing the Living Lab The mentoring may take place either online or face-to-face The number, frequency and duration of the mentoring sessions are to be agreed between client and expert in the Roadmap Mentor profiles are provided to the client based on the entry meeting discussions and training plan Client selects preferred expert profile(s) to conduct the mentoring
Mentoring is always combined with the entry meeting with ENoLL Office to determine the topic areas for the mentoring Mentoring may be combined with a face-to-face training Mentoring may be combined with a site visit consultation meeting Mentoring is always combined with e-course material(s) as complementary learning materials
Choose this option if you need guidance for the Living Lab project within an agreed timeline, an expert to help you whith scheduled meetings, sharing expertise and hints for action. Also, for very specific topics that you would like to address with an experienced mentor, combining this offer with other options for a comprehensive overview on Living Labs.
2.
Face-to-Face training
Involving one or more experts from the ENoLL network - based on mentoring plan & selected expert(s) The Face-to-Face training is conducted at the location either determined by the client or ENoLL With a duration of a one-day 6-hour training The training may involve both theoretical and practical training (in the form of tailored workshops) Theoretical training day: 6 hours theoretical training - presentation format prepared by the expert(s) on identified topic areas Theoretical + practical training day: Âą3 hours theoretical training (presentation format) and Âą3 hours practical training (interactive workshop format) by the expert(s) on identified topic areas Specific goals and deliverables of the training are identified together with the trainer in the Roadmap After the training day the client will receive the training materials and a debrief of the day, including recommendations by the expert
The training is always combined with the entry meeting with ENoLL Office to determine the agenda for the training day The training may be combined with online/presential mentoring both prior to and post- training The training may be combined with a site visit consultation meeting The training is always combined with e-course material(s) as complementary learning materials to the training either prior to or post- training
Choose this option if you are looking for a comprehensive overview of the Living Lab methodology as a whole while also digging deeper into specific topic areas in the form of a tailored training based on your specific needs
3. Site visit Selected expert(s) visit the premises of the client in person The one-time visit takes the form of a mentoring-style meeting, where the expert is providing guidance on site Expert profiles are provided to the client based on the needs / topic areas identified in the mentoring plan Client selects preferred profile(s) for conducting the site visit The exact timing, goals and deliverables of the site visit are agreed with the expert in the Roadmap
Site visit is always combined with the entry meeting with ENoLL Office to determine the topic areas for the visit Site visit may be combined with a face-to-face training (preferrably conducted in connection with the visit) Site visit may be combined with an ongoing mentoring prior- and post- visit (either online or in person) Site visit is always combined with e-course materials for the client to consult either as preparation for the visit or as complementary learning materials after the visit
Choose this option if you have very specific issues that you would like to address with an experienced mentor, would like to tackle these on-site and possibly inviting other colleagues from your organisation to join the visit as well. You already have a solid background knowledge in the Living Lab methodology as a whole, or are combining this offer with a face-to- face training
4.E-course materials In addition to the offers above, selected e-course materials are offered as complementary learning materials based on the identified needs in the training plan The selected e-course videos offer additional knowledge in the topic areas identified in the training plan These e-courses may serve as preparatory materials before the session with the expert - or sometimes as a debrief of the topics, tools or methods introduced during the session In some cases e-courses may be offered to strengthen the client’s knowledge in a topic area that is not included in the physical training itself, but where the client could benefit from additional knowledge in the form of a crash-course
E-course video materials are offered as complementary learning materials to the mentoring offers Choose this option if you have selected one or more of the 3 offers above - the e-course materials are added to your package in the training plan automatically

ENoLL Introduction The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is active in 22 of the 28 EU member states, and in 2 EU candidates states (Serbia and Turkey). It is present in all continents with 15% of our members based outside of the European Union
Living Labs are defined as user-centred, open innovation ecosystems based on a systematic user co-creation approach integrating research and innovation processes in real life communities and settings. In practice, Living Labs place the citizen at the centre of innovation, and have thus shown the ability to better mould the opportunities offered by new ICT concepts and solutions to the specific needs and aspirations of local contexts, cultures, and creativity potentials.
