Metabo HPT has introduced the newest addition to its cordless nailer lineup with the 18V MultiVolt 18-Gauge Compact Brad Nailer (model NT1850DF). This brushless cordless nailer is 30% more compact and 31% lighter than its predecessor (model NT1850DES) at only 4.4 lbs., making it easier to fit into tight spaces and to nail crown overhead for hours without getting fatigued, Metabo HPT said. The nailer can deliver a driving speed of 3 nails per second with zero ramp-up time saving valuable time and increasing productivity. This compact brad nailer is a convenient alternative for any trim application offering the freedom to move without the hassle of dragging a hose, lugging a noisy compressor, or having to deal with gas cartridges. The 18V cordless brad nailer drives 1,650 brad nails per charge with the included compact 3.0Ah battery (or up to 4,000 brad nails per charge with an 8.0Ah MultiVolt battery). The NT1850DF cordless brad nailer drives 5/8” up to 2” 18-Gauge brad nails up to 0.31” in diameter. The tool-less depth of drive adjustment, now located on the left side, is easier to operate for right-handed users, which adds convenience to quickly change to flush drive or countersink into varying material. The latest batterypowered rebar tying tool from MAX Co Ltd., the TwinTier, can form 4,000 ties per charge. The durability of the tools has improved due to the continuous R&D efforts of our over 200 engineers and the range of the rebar tying capability has significantly increased as well. Traditionally, the RB655 has been the tool with the largest rebar tying capacity since its launch in 2007, tying up to #8 on #9 rebar combinations. Contractors working with rebar, from rodbusters to electricians, are utilizing the large capacity of the RB611T to finish rebar tying faster for these larger rebar applications. The TwinTier platform ties at approx. ½ sec per tie due to its dual wire feeding mechanism. This tool platform also uses less wire per tie because of the wire pull-back mechanism (yields approx. 200 ties per spool when tying #5 on #5). These efficiencies make the RB611Ts very appealing, especially to contractors who have previously used older rebar tying tools. Maxusacorp.com

Paslode.com Bosch Power Tools’ newest entries to its line of random orbit sanders, the GEX33-5N, 5 In. Random Orbit Sander, replaces the 3725DEVS; the GEX33-6N 6 In. Random Orbit Sander, replaces the 3727DEVS; and the GEX34-6N 6 In. Random Orbit Sander, replaces the ROS65VC-6. Designed for professionals, the new orbit sanders are engineered for years of use. The sanders deliver superior performance for tough and fine sanding and polishing jobs. The rotation action coupled with side-to-side motion makes it ideal for achieving an extremely clean sanding and polishing finish with no swirl marks left behind. The orbit sanders’ microfilter dust system filters fine dust particles as small as a 1/2 micron in diameter. To ensure a strong grip of the disc while in use, the sanders employ Bosch’s signature HookTight hook-andloop disc attachment as well as an exclusive dual-bearing pad mount for less vibration. The sanders also come equipped with a variable-speed dial, which provides control from 4,500 to 12,000 orbits per minute (opm), empowering the user to match the speed of the sander to the task. The new sanders are exclusively compatible with Multi-hole backing pads. BoschTools.com
