BE AN EXPERT IN HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT "Good health is above Wealth". Yes, the proverb means it; if we are in a good health, we can achieve great things. This should also be practiced in an industry so that we can safeguard employers lives. An organization's main success lies in its human resources, notably in industries like oil-gas, petroleum, mining etc. Studies have proved that the employees provided with high-end security and safe working conditions are known to have immense satisfaction in their jobs compared with the others who don't have safe environments. Hence this results in a reduced turnover rate of an organization. 2. Handling of emergency situations

Till now we were discussing the major problems which could occur in s workplace, now we'll see how to handle such a situation. The Occupational Health and Safety Officers are well-trained in handling such situations that need emergency action in case of injury, machine failure etc. The quick decision making skill is also an important factor.

3. Awareness program in Employees Workers should be aware of all the do's and do not's that should be followed in Organizations. The Occupational Safety and Health Officer should organize such programs so that the workers are fully aware of the different hazardous that occur in an organization.
