CATWALK MODEL BECOMES BUSINESS GIRL - Thitirat Sophie Kim

My Model Career Begins Thitirat Sophie Kim, the name I’m known for in the entertainment industry. I’m a 22 year old young woman from Thailand and I’ve been working as a model in Korea for 1 year and 6 months. When I first started modeling, I participated in Miss Grand 2016. It was baby steps after I finished the “Miss Grand Competition”. Soon after, I went on to do some TV shows and volunteer work. As I continued my career in this industry, I began to feel as though the work didn’t suit me so, I decided to study abroad in New Zealand. I didn’t stay there for long. Shortly after, I received a recommendation to be a contestant in a beauty pageant in both Korea and Malaysia. After all of this I began working in Korea. There, I had the fortune of participating in the “Seoul Fashion Week” in 2017. For that reason, a lot of agencies heard about me and I began to get several modeling job offers. From cosmetics to accessories and clothing.

My Secret to Beautiful Many people ask me what’s the secret to my skin. I can tell you that I’ve had treatments from The LINE Beauty Clinic in Korea. This clinic helped me enormously and I’d like to personally thank Dr. Cho Jae Ho and Dr. Chung Yoo Suk, as well as their team and everyone there. It took me a while to get used to the lifestyle in South Korea. The people are smart, hardworking and fashionable. There were many cultural differences as well. Living here taught me how to constantly improve myself by observing and adapting. My friends in Korea also helped and taught me a lot.

My Gift of Fashion Emerges – Business Owner Because I saw the trend in the Korean fashion style, I decided to enter the fashion world. I started a business with a shoe line, “Fabric Kim - Fluffy Collection”. Business was a lot harder than I thought it would be and after a month, I still had no customers! One time I nearly gave up. After talking to a lot of people who

gave me very good advice, I learned that starting a business wasn’t easy and if I wanted to succeed, I needed to continue to learn and grow. When sales were down, it was a difficult time for me but, even after failing, I continued to persevere and now my business is slowly improving and picking up. I believe that my courage and perseverance will make my company great, successful and profitable in the future. I hope my story motivates others to never give up and quit on their dreams so easily. Learn from other successful people, learn from your own failures and most important, persevere. Be courageous and go for it! You Too Will Succeed!
