Out of Box Experience A project sponsored by Fleming Medical. I had to re-design the packaging and instructions for the OMRON Blood Pressure monitor. The end goal being to display the necessary information to the user in a much simpler and inviting way
Out of Box Experience: Original Packaging & It’s Flaws
The actual product description is the least dominant text displayed and does not read well due to background colour transition behind the text.
Blue gradient graphic does nothing but clutter the packaging. Text placed upon the transitioning colours is harder to read.

Omron logo is the largest text on the packaging but does not communicate anything about the product
Unexplained symbols at the base of the packaging are not effective at informing the consumer of the unique features of the product

During research no participants consulted the instructions. When questioned about this it was agreed that the instructions were a “last resort” for any product. However each participant also stated that the size of the instruction manual was off-putting. Need: A Quick Start Guide for the “Real Life User” 9

Pop Up Presentation Stand A project based around a strict brief: “Design a Pop Up Presentation Stand for our studio. It must be transportable, flat-pack and the design must be tailored to suite batch manufacturing at a low cost.
It must be capable of presenting -1200mm x 1200mm presentation boards -Models or objects up to 30cmÂł
