Welcome to the 2016 Wheels & Heels Annual Gala at America's Car Museum. More than an evening of social celebration, proceeds from the event help fund many of the activities, programs and exhibits that make ACM one of America's premier destination attractions. The two couples serving as Honorary Chairs for tonight's Gala are special friends of America's Car Museum. Dale Bloomquist and Tom Hedges are members of ACM's Board of Directors and both couples are Concours Club members. Both Dale Bloomquist, D.D.S., M.S. and Heidi Horwitz D.D.S. are highly successful and respected members of the region's dental community. Dr. Bloomquist has served as a Dental School Faculty President, Department Chairman and has held numerous posts as Hospital Attending Physician. Dr. Horwitz operates a specialty private practice in Orthodontics and has been voted one of Seattle's Top Dentists in both 2015 and 2016. In addition to their love of vintage automobiles, Tom and Anne-Marie Hedges own and operate Hedges Family Estate winery. Their biodynimacally-farmed vineyards are located in the Heart of Washington's wine country. Their beautiful estate winery, reminiscent of a French chateau, produces exceptional wines renowned and shipped worldwide. Announcements will be made prior to the closing of the silent auction. 2. All sales are final; there will be no exchanges or refunds except where specified. 3. ACM has endeavored to catalog and describe the property correctly, but all property is sold ‘as is'. No statements contained in the catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. 4. Items depicted in the ‘slide' presentation are for illustrative purposes. 5. ACM assumes no responsibility for travel arrangements, unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be made for canceled tickets and accommodations. All arrangements and coordination of items must be made by the auction buyer and only with the contact person designated on the donation certificate or documentation. 6. Unless otherwise stated, all certificates for services expire one year from the date of the auction. 7. Unless otherwise stated, restaurant certificates and experiences exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity and may have certain date restrictions. 8. All hotel/resort reservations are based on availability unless the certificate states a specific date. 9. All wine and spirits may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. All sales of wine and spirits are subject to Washington law, including regulations of the Washington State Liquor Control Board. 10. Please make payment in full this evening. ACM accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as payment. Items may be removed on auction evening only by exhibiting a “paid" receipt at the door at the time of departure. For those items not picked up at the end of the event, items may be picked up from the administrative offices of ACM by appointment. 11. ACM reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale. 12. During the live auction, the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the winning purchaser. The auctioneer reserves the right to settle any and all disputes. 13. The winning bidder of items valued as “priceless" establishes the fair-market value, therefore no tax-deductibility applies.
