To Elissa & ETS, First, I’d like to thank you for offering me such a wonderful fam opportunity aboard the AmaLyra on the Tulip Time Cruise. It was such a great experience. Not only am I better equipped to sell river cruises, Ama Waterways and ETS in particular; but I experience a level of service that I truly enjoyed and that is not available on the larger cruises. During the 7 night voyage, I was able to not only see historic and beautiful locations; but I was able to do it with only 130 other passengers. By the end of the cruise we were family. I really enjoyed the intimacy of river cruising. Interacting with the captain and senior staff was a usual experience. Here are a few things about Ama Waterways that really stood out for me: 1. Personal attention from beginning to end. I received a beautiful travel package with everything I needed for my cruise. And at the airport, the greeters were right there waiting for us as soon as we cleared customs. But the thing that I have never experienced before was the airport concierge at departure. Someone from Ama was right there to take us into the airport and show us exactly how to check-in, where to go and what to do. It was wonderful! 2. The crew was amazing. They were friendly and went out of their way to help make your vacation enjoyable. 3. The dining the in specialty restaurant, at no additional fee, was such a treat. The food & service was outstanding. 4. The tours were not too large, so that we could really enjoy the locations that we visited and ask as many questions as we wanted. Just getting off of the ship to board a bus or take a walking tour was so nice. Here again the number of passengers played a big part in adding to the intimacy of the experience. 5. The lounge was used as our living room. It was the meeting place prior to tour departure and the location for evening entertainment and occasional group meetings. 6. The cruise ended with a nice thank you gift. It was such a nice touch and so unexpected, yet very much appreciated. 7. And the crew even sent a signed thank you note. They are truly a first class ship & crew.
