Cool Down

Not being okay is okay! It's understandable to feel stressed and overwhelmed. When you need to go from a hot moment to a cool calm, you can text "BRAVE" to 741741. A crisis counselor will be waiting to help guide you.

Wipe off

In opposition to what society says, crying does not make you weak. In fact, it's healthy and normal to cry. Grab some Kleenex and don't be afraid to have a good cry when you need to.

Bandage Up

When we've brought ourselves to a cool moment, and had a good cry, we can then work on bandaging the wound. Talk to a mental health professional. Sometimes handling big situations on our own can be tough. Relieve some of the burden by talking to someone who can help and understand.

Soothe Yourself

At the end of the day, after a tough mental health collapse, participating in a comforting activity may be nice. Sooth yourself by doing something that brings you enjoyment. It can be pleasant to commit your mind to the task and not focus on your crisis.
