In 2017, Episcopal Relief & Development spent 84% on programs versus 5% on fundraising and 11% on administration. Because of the support we receive from the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society in the form of contributed services, in addition to income from own investments, at least 90% of every donor dollar goes directly to programs.
As an organization, we maintain the highest standards for internal accountability. We are also involved in multi-agency efforts to improve practices and reporting in the relief and development community.
Episcopal Relief & Development is an independent nonprofit organization and your contributions are tax deductible under U.S. tax regulations. The agency is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
