DIAZO-TRADITIONAL PHOTOEMULSIONS Diazo-traditional photoemulsions are based on the photo-chemical reaction between the activator – a diazo-compound – and the photo-sensitive emulsion by UV radiation. The equipment is fundamental to achieve a correct screen matrix as well as the right exposure and the appropriate light source used.

DUAL-CURE PHOTOEMULSIONS The reaction mechanism of the dual-cure photoemulsions is based on a dual system hardening: the first is a photochemical reaction between the activator – a chemical diazo-compound – and the photo-sensitive emulsion by means of UV radiation, the second is a reaction of the acrylic resins contained in the formula. Dual-cure photoemulsions, in fact, basically contain polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol and UV acrylic resins. These photoemulsions have to be engraved by metal-halogen lamps, with a wide spectrum and available with different power outputs, to ensure complete hardening of the film. Dual-cure photoemulsions offer short exposure time, high quality and durability of the screen matrices, exceptional image quality and greater versatility.

PURE POLYMER PHOTOEMULSIONS This is the “avantgard class of photemulsions. Pure polymer photemulsions contain an SBQ compound that assures very high reactivity to UV radiation, not requiring the reaction activator (diazo-compund). In addition to SBQ the formula includes: polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol and synthetic resins responsible for the specific resistance of the screen matrix. Pure polymer photoemulsions offer lots of advantages: fast exposure time, high engraving precision, pot-life extension and no waiting time due to activator addition.

AUXILIARIES In the screen matrices preparations, besides the photoemulsion choice, other processes should not be underestimated, because they remarkably influence the successful result: • an effective degreasing of the fabric, which removes the dirt allowing better adhesion of the emulsion avoiding "pinholes"; • the proper catalysis, to increase both chemical and mechanical resistances; • the right gluing of the fabric to the frame, which assures a perfect hold of the register during printing.

PRE-PRESS AUXILIARIES ADHESIVES FOR GLUING OF THE FABRIC TO THE FRAME GREEN TACK, polyurethane two-component adhesive suitable for all frame types gluing: metal (both steel and aluminium), coated-metal and wooden.

CATALYSTS GREEN FIX series is a selection of catalysts to increase matrices chemical and mechanical resistance.

STRIPPERS GREEN STRIP series, to remove photoemulsions both from screen printing matrices and fabrics.

GHOST IMAGES REMOVERS GREEN GHOST series, to remove "ghost images" from recovered fabrics.
