Andrew proposed to Martin at the rather famous proposal spot of Bow Bridge in Central Park, New York on their 9th anniversary together. Even though they were alone in a big city, when the question was popped they suddenly heard a scream of excitement from a random lady who was passing by and were lucky enough she started capturing this momentous occasion with her phone.

Much like the proposal they held their wedding ceremony in a park here in Sydney, Mckell Park which has spectacular views over the harbour and well-appointed gardens. With such a beautiful backdrop photo’s ensued and the reception followed at Beta Bar in Sydney CBD where, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were so warm and friendly.

The wedding theme revolved around an elegant and classy Gatsby theme. There was a mixture of gold, black and florals in deep blues, purples, pinks with golden foliage. Just a few days’ shy of our 10th anniversary we are now legally married in the place we want to live the rest of our lives.
