Broadening the reach of feminist messages
Using an artivist approach, in 2023 we create products that highlight the potential of art to connect people with information and generate debate on feminist agendas and intersectionality in society through radio programs, digital campaigns, and audiovisual materials.
Communication Campaigns:
• We coordinated the Campaign of Campaigns (CofC) to bring together structural demands under a radical feminist perspective, providing a platform for activists from the Global South.
• We participated in the campaign “Time is running out, the future is now!” to raise awareness about the climate crisis and demand immediate action.
• We led the Call for the 2nd Edition of the National Contest “Weaving Citizen Networks: Diverse Youths“ for the participation of young people in the public debate with a gender and intersectionality approach.
• We disseminated campaigns to prevent and address sexual violence against children and adolescents, with emphasis on translation into indigenous languages.
• We developed radiocapsules on teen pregnancy, dating violence, STDs, and the importance of accessing health and justice.
• We share stories of girls and adolescents defending their rights in different countries, as well as tools to prevent sexual exploitation and trafficking of children and adolescents.
• Through the “Girls and Adolescents Without Violence” video, we are raising awareness in communities about the importance of preventing sexual violence and providing support to survivors of violence.
