SPEAKING ABOUT THE FOOD PYRAMID

2

Read aloud the following paragraph and answer the questions. The food pyramid The food pyramid indicates the balance on the way we eat. By paying attention to this pyramid, we may live happier and healthier. The most important part of the food pyramid is the water, and we can find it at the base or the lower part of it. We have to drink eight servings of water a day, because it keeps all the functions of our body going on.

Words and expressions:

The upper part of the pyramid (the top), indicates the food that we have to eat sparingly or not too much. The middle part of the food pyramid indicates that we have to eat this kind of food in a bigger quantity.
