ELIZA JOHN + WENDY SMITH PRIVATE VIEWS: SATURDAY 16 JULY 5 –7PM
Eliza John Eliza John looks for the abstract within the representational through her work in oil paint, acrylic, watercolour, inks and gouache. Focusing on the physicality of the medium enables the colours and accidental shapes to reflect a beauty of their own. Wendy Smith Wendy Smith’s paintings are a reflection, combining memory and everyday ‘happenings’ and occurrences, dressed up with the vibrancy of colour and emotional expression. They deal with the sense of place, whether landscape or seascape.
