The size is 22 inches x 30 inches and this was made in grade 12. I was influenced by when I was little I used to watch a movie with my Dad called Treasure Planet. It was about a young boy whose Dad was taken because of a treasure and as the little boy got older he was determined to go and find it. During his adventures he became good friends with a pirate and everyone lived on this type of planet where it seemed to me that it was just floating in the sky.
The art technique I used was watercolour painting. The element of art that I used was colour. I used a lot of primary and secondary colours. I also used value with the different shades of colour. I used a little bit of pattern in coping the style of trees and colour for each island.
