How do you measure your progress in advertising MLM? It really depends on what avenues you’ve taken to advertise your campaign. Often the most obvious metrics aren’t the ones that count the most. Why do you need to know how to Measure success in your advertising? To become more cost-efficient! This is critical especially for networkers who are just starting out. Of course you can gauge success by looking at your sales number but it also important to know which of your advertising channels is giving you your money’s worth. It’s not just the money involved, there’s also time being used up. Waste at the starting phase of your campaign can eat up your critical funds for advertising MLM. We’ll discuss a few of the most commonly used marketing channels by network marketers. Blog & Website SEO – You’ll need to look beyond Search Engine Results and traffic generated. A high visitor count is useless if they don’t convert or subscribe to your mailing list. You can also measure the amount of call in customers if you have that contact information on the page. If all your sign-ups are handled here, then you’ll
need to track from where found out about your site customers and leads. Social Media – There are tools available to measure the amount of traffic to your facebook page, its reach, and what post gets the most activity. A lot more information is available on their help page. For other popular social media like Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest will have its own measuring tools from 3rd party developers. What you need to measure here is the amount of interaction or engagement (Retweets, Repins, and “hearts”) and not just the number of fans on your page. If you use this to funnel people to your main website then it is good to watch out for that number too. Knowing what type of post generates the most activity will help you keep your profile fresh and interesting. Clickable Ads – These can become quite expensive method of advertising MLM in the long run. They’re effectiveness is easier to monitor since you should have the ability to generate a report on the amount of people sent to your page. Forum Posting – This activity costs nothing but does require a hefty investment in time. You can contact members who are interested in your offers directly or setup a funnel to your site by adding a link on your forum signature. It is also easy to track provided that you’ve set up a way to count people who have clicked on your link. Email – You will need to look at how many people respond or buy your offers. It is pretty straightforward. It’s also good to check out your sign up rate from time to time. It will help you measure the success of your other channels for advertising MLM.
If you have other channels for advertising MLM, you just need to look out for the equivalent metrics for engagement, reach and sales. High numbers in these are a good indication of their effectiveness. Compare how much time, effort and resources you’ve sunk into each one and you can probably make a decision on which of these existing channels you should put more focus on.
