Articles from EricWelke.com How to Make Money in an Hour Online… Really! by Eric Welke
A lot of shady offers online start with something like “how to make money in an hour” or “make money while at home with only 2 hours’ work.” I tend to ignore these offers. You should too. It’s not that they’re outright false claims, but these statements tend to minimize to a large degree the amount of work that you really need to do. It is possible to earn money in an hour online. Legitimately, too of course, but it does require a bit of preparation beforehand. You need to have what you need in order to earn in place. Done properly, you can keep earning money beyond that 1st hour. You can take it as a challenge. Figure out “How to make money in an hour” then try to compare which method earns you more. We are of course not necessarily following the 1 hour criteria since we did preparations beforehand. Just think of it as cooking a dish with the ingredients all ready to go. Here are the different ways you can earn money in short time:
1. Sell items on eBay or other auction sites – dispose of your old stuff or sell stuff that you bought wholesale. If you’re item is in demand and you’ve built enough good feedback overtime, you can move a lot of inventory in just an hour. 2. Drop ship items – you don’t even need to have the item you want to sell. Just find the buyers and pay the wholesale price and the supplier or manufacturer will take care of the rest. 3. Sell your crafted items – The popularity of artist driven sites like Etsy and Deviant Art paves the way for those with artistic talent to sell their creations. Whether prints, sculptures or handicrafts, the market for art and knick knacks has enabled vendors on these sites to grow. You can earn a lot too if you’ve got proven artistic talent.
4.
Find small contracts on oDesk or other freelancing sites – If the skills you have are more suited for office, administrative or content creation then the freelancing sites are your best bet. Just be on the lookout for projects that only need a short time to do. Short voice transcription or Voice recording, translating a page of text, and writing up product descriptions are all jobs that can be done under an hour.
5.
Post multiple gigs on Fiverr or similar sites – Fiverr is a site that specializes in jobs that can be done for $5. It’s a bit similar to working on the short tasks found on oDesk but there is a wider range of tasks on to choose from. You can list any skill or knowledge you can offer and then wait for interested people to contact you. The length of your wait depends on the demand for the gig you put up on the site. Do a bit of research to find out which odd job you’re capable of is in demand. 6. Some online survey sites pay you to complete their surveys – You’ll notice these survey sites online that pay you to complete them. You don’t earn that much but you can do multiple sites. The problem is that some of these are accessible only for people in a specific demographic or location. Doing odd jobs online is like getting paid for mowing lawns. What’s important is that you get to mow a lot of them. Feel free to add your proven 1 hour job ideas. These quick odd jobs are great for learning about how to work online.
