Rainbow Families of Erie group forms
from Rainbow Families We are a new group that is going to plan monthly outings that are family oriented and focus on our kids forming bonds and friendships with families like theirs! Focus is on LGBT families and their children. Families with mommies and daddies, children of all ages and those who wish to begin the journey into parenthood are welcome :) There will be a get-together on Saturday, September 19 at 12 noon at the Rotary Pavilion at Presque Isle State Park, Erie PA. Young LBT Group starting up
from Amy Hey all you young LBT women! Is anyone else out there looking for a group of women to go out and do things with? We are looking to form such a group of ladies ages 21-40 and would love to hear your ideas and types of things folks would like to do. We will be having our first meeting at 2 PM on Sunday Sept. 13 at the Presque Isle Gallery coffee house, 35 Peninsula Dr. I will buy coffee for anyone who would like it. AIDS Community Services’ Holiday Adopt A Family has been very successful because of support from friends like you. Our clients need your help this year more than ever. The economy remains unstable, and many people continue to struggle, both financially and emotionally. Individuals or organizations can adopt a family or a single person or perhaps more than one single – our greatest need – and provide them with a holiday to remember.
