Pride Day at Waldameer Park & Waterworld on Sunday, June 25 from NW PA Pride Alliance
We had so much fun last year, we’re doing it again! NW PA Pride Alliance will be hosting Pride Day at Waldameer Park and WaterWorld on Sunday, June 25, the day after PrideFest. End your Pride Weekend with unlimited rides and slides at a discounted price! To join us on Sunday June 25th for some family fun at the 10th oldest amusement park in the US, you just need to: Use the handy ticket link in the online version of this article to get your discounted day passes to the main park and newly expanded water park. (You can also reserve your passes with us at Erie Pridefest, June 24th in Perry Square) Then just stop by our reserved pavilion, Coaster 2, to pick up your passes. Enjoy your day in the park with friends and family!
The Main park will be open from 12 noon until 10 P.M. that day and Water World will be open from 11 A.M until 7 P.M., so bring your suits and towels and get ready to get wet! We’ve reserved Coaster 2 Pavilion this year; so you’re welcome to take a break from the fun to relax in the shade and eat or use the grills there to cook up something tasty. Please note that Waldameer & Water World are cashless so all purchases inside the park require a Credit/Debit or Wally Card which can be purchased at the park or ahead of time on their website. In the interest of everyone enjoying the day, we’d like to ask everyone to please abide by the rules the good folks at Waldameer Park & Water World have established for everyone’s safety, a complete list of the parks guidelines is available at waldameer.com You attend at your own risk, NWPA Pride Alliance Inc. assumes no responsibility for personal belongings you (Continued on page 4)

Erie Gay News new ad rates by Michael Mahler First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who has ever advertised with Erie Gay News! The support of our advertisers has been what has enabled us to keep our region’s community informed about LGBT news and events for almost 25 years now and we are deeply grateful for being a part of making that possible. We are glad to inform our community about the great news and events of our community. We are one of only three community LGBT print publications in Pennsylvania, the other two being Philadelphia Gay News and Central Voice PA from the Harrisburg area. Cleveland and Pittsburgh no longer have LGBT print publications, so Erie Gay News takes a lot of pride in informing our region. Erie Gay News has had the same rates for ads since December of 2002, and rising printing and postage costs necessitate that we need to update our rate to reflect those realities. Beginning with this issue, eighth page ads are now $40 for eighth page ads ($36 if prepaid), $65 for a quarter page ad ($58.50 if prepaid), $120 for a half page ad ($108 if prepaid) and $200 for a full page ad ($180 if prepaid). All prices are per issue. Many thanks, and we look forward to continuing working with our community!
