I created the marketing plan, copy, and code for this special Amazon Kindle eBook promotion which featured a free Superman e-comic when respondents subscribed to the newly created Amazon Comics Newsletter. The promotion required multiple approvals from the senior Kindle eBookstore leadership as well as senior marketing leadership at DC Comics. The goal of the promotion was to supercharge the Amazon Comics Newsletter subscription base, which stood at 0 when the promotion launched on June 8, 2013 with a year-end goal of 40,000 subscribers. My promotion ran for 6 weeks and secured 94% of the year-end goal with 37,600 subscribers.
