Lastly, Seoul is often touted as one of the most wired cities in the world, but getting your overseas BlackBerry to work here is no easy feat, as Korea is on an incompatible network. • Credit cards More and more motels, hotels, shops and restaurants in cities and tourist areas accept foreign credit cards, but there are still plenty of restaurants and small businesses that don’t. Be prepared to carry around plenty of cash, especially if you are touring around outside the main cities. It is better to check with your bank if there is an additional charge if you use it abroad. Do check their conversion rate. Most stores accept credit cards but ask if there is an additional charge if you use your card.
