The Pure-Screen 100 Series wedge-wire filter range has a rugged construction with collapse pressures 2-6 x the maximum operating pressure of the filter. This makes it ideal for critical applications where lter failure or collapse is not an option i.e. final product filtration. This versatile range of filters is ideally suited for applications where product smoothness and consistency are essential.

The adjacent filter curves show a typical flow v. pressure drop with pure water at 20 ºC using a PureScreen 100 Series 90º type filter configuration. Specific curves are available for each filter size if required. The flowrate will fall and teh pressure drop will rise when fluids other rahn water are used. The cahnge will be influenced by the viscosity and crucially by the debris loading in the feed.
