Lectoribus salutem!
Consistit Doctorum educatio in ingeniis academicis alendis.
Immo his meritis titulum proprium inveniendum est.
Institutum Erasmianum Studiis Administrandi Provehendis (ERIM) haec omnia libens gaudensque magnificat. Quapropter Professori Frans van den Bosch titulum honorarium Praeceptoris Doctorvm Celeberrimi conferimus.

Training doctors means nurturing academic talent. It is both hard work and an art to be a guide in the doctoral research journey.
One needs not only much knowledge, but also experience and wisdom in each particular journey.
It is an outstanding and meritorious achievement to have prepared 25 doctors for the needs of the academy and society at large.
Such merit deserves a special title.
The Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) celebrates this remarkable accomplishment by Professor Frans van den Bosch and is delighted to formally recognise his achievement by granting him the honourable title of highly distinguished ERIM promotor.
