SIMPLE QUIET SHAPES
Hello from a old cotton mill nestled in Maine. I am a textile
surface designer who every year is evolving, changing
and growing...as is my little company where our team
of artisan printers and stitchers burn my drawings into screens and
hand print and sew them with our own woven cotton fabric.
SPRING SUMMER 2016 is about being quiet, and sitting still.
Each design reflects memories of my childhood in my grandfather’s
magical gardens with 8ft holly hocks to my life today where
I find solitude and sanctuary among the coastal cool
waters and roaming our 4 acres of woods.
Summer is about slowing down, and after an insanely busy
year building a new home and expanding the business...
my designs reflect a simpler quiet remembering of why we work
so hard each day. It is here in Maine where I get to live,
raise my two girls with my business partner and husband Maslen...
