about us Welcome to BMR Suspension! When BMR began

back in 1998, it was difficult for performance automotive consumers to find suspension products that had an innovative design, quality construction, and an affordable price. BMR turned this market void into a business philosophy and has been serving our customer’s needs ever since. We currently offer chassis, suspension, and drivetrain products for 16 different vehicles and we are the leading suspension manufacturer in many of the market segments that we serve. Whether you are interested in street performance, hardcore drag racing, or handling applications, BMR Suspension has the product that you need. BMR Suspension products are proudly made in our manufacturing facility near Tampa. We cut, bend, notch, drill, and mill our tubular components from American-made DOM and chrome-moly steel. Every product is fixturewelded to maintain consistent quality. We beadblast our parts and then powdercoat them on our own powdercoating line. Then we assemble and package the products in our assembly department. By manufacturing our products in house, BMR can control the quality at every stage of the manufacturing process.

BMR Suspension products fit and work so well because they are street driven and track tested on BMR project vehicles. Our past project cars include a 2005 Mustang drag car, a 2004 GTO, a 2005 Mustang street car, and a 1994 Camaro. Our current project vehicles include a 2010 Camaro and a 1969 Camaro. As if that were not enough, BMR also has a 2008 G8 GT, 1970-1/2 Camaro, 1968 GTO, 1970 Chevelle, 1998 Camaro, and a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. But it is more than just great vehicles – virtually every BMR employee is a racer or hot rodder as well. This love of racing is demonstrated every day in our customer service, design innovation, and manufacturing quality. BMR sway-bars decrease body roll in your 2010+ Camaro resulting in a more predictable, neutrally balanced suspension. This platform produces too much understeer from the factory so our sway bars have been developed to balance the car by increasing roll stiffness in the rear. BMR sway bars are made from high quality, cold-formed DOM tubing which allows the bars to resist torsional fatique much better than hot formed bars. Front sway bar is a lightweight, hollow 29mm bar while the rear is hollow 25mm. Polyurethane mounting bushings and hardware included.

F-body 2O1o+ STRUT TOWER BRACES

Eliminate tower deflection and improve handling in your new Fifth Generation F-body with a Strut Tower Brace from BMR Fabrication. These Heavy Duty braces are constructed from 1.75” diameter x .120 wall DOM steel and 1/4” CNC laser cut and formed steel plates. The 2-Point Strut Tower Brace mounts to the strut towers at the rear of the engine bay, effectively tying the towers together to prevent deflection during aggressive driving. The 4-point Strut Tower Brace ties the strut towers together with the radiator core support.

SUBFRAME CONNECTORS

Constructed of 1” x 1” x .120 wall rectangular tubing and 3/16” CNC laser cut and formed steel plates, the Sub Frame Connectors from BMR use pre-existing bolt holes for a truly bolt in piece. The triangulating design stiffens and reinforces the chassis by joining three key areas of the vehicle’s chassis: the front sub frames, carrier bearing location, and the rear sub frame where the rear suspension cradle mounts. By fastening these three locations, the Sub Frame Connectors enrich the handling and response of your Camaro. New hardware is provided for an installation time of only one hour.

DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOP

Driveshaft safety loops are required for any car running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile. BMR’s NHRA legal safety loop for the Fifth Gen F-body bolts directly to the factory transmission crossmember and is an easy 1 hour installation.

DRIVESHAFT TUNNEL BRACE

Constructed from 1” x 2” x .083 wall rectangular steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut steel plates, these braces replace the factory stamped steel design. The BMR Driveshaft Tunnel Brace uses factory mounting holes while increasing the rigidity of the tunnel in the critical area where the driveshaft carrier bearing is located.

Stabilize the caster settings and minimize wheel-hop in your 5th Gen Camaro with a set of Trailing Arms from BMR Fabrication. Superior to the factory stamped steel arms, these Trailing Arms are constructed from 1” x 2” rectangular steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut and CNC formed steel plates. The BMR Trailing Arms utilize fullyfluted, greaseable, low-deflection polyurethane bushings rather than the poorly supported rubber bushings of the factory design. Installation time is only 1 hour.

BMR control arms replace the OE stamped steel arm with a much more rigid tubular arm to reduce camber change during aggressive driving. The OE control arm not only supports the load of the vehicle but is also responsible for maintaining and adjusting camber settings. BMR control arms are manufactured from heavy duty DOM tubing with 3/16” laser cut mounting plates. Settings for stock height or 1” lowered height.

TOE RODS TR003r

The toe rod is responsible for maintaining toe settings of the rear wheels similar to tie rod ends on the front end. This ensures that the wheels remain set to a fixed position, not erratically pointing inward or outward under loading. The factory rods are made from flimsy stamped steel and use soft rubber bushings at the mounting points. Under load, deflection can cause poor launch stability, inconsistent handling and decreased braking ability. BMR toe rods are made from heavy duty 1” x 2” heavy wall DOM and use our spiral fluted, low deflection polyurethane bushings. Quick and easy install with no decrease in ride quality.

G8 2oo8-2oo9 Strut tower brace

Eliminate tower deflection and improve handling with a strut tower brace. These braces are constructed from 1-¼” diameter x .120 wall DOM steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut steel plates. It uses existing holes to mount in the engine bay, so there is no need to remove the struts or make any permanent modifications to the car during installation. This is truly a bolt-in piece. These strut tower braces are formed to the contours of the covers in the engine bay for enhanced cosmetic appeal.

Subframe connectors

Stiffen up the chassis for greatly improved handling. Constructed of ¾” x ¾” x .120 wall rectangular tubing and 3/16” CNC laser cut and formed steel plates, the subframe connectors use pre-existing bolt holes for a truly bolt in piece. The triangulating design stiffens and reinforces the chassis by joining three key areas of the vehicle’s chassis: the front subframes, carrier bearing location, and the rear subframe where the rear suspension cradle mounts. By fastening these three locations, the subframe connectors enrich the handling and response of your G8. Use this with the DTB004 driveshaft tunnel brace and increase rigidity by joining the right side of the vehicle to the left.

Driveshaft tunnel brace

Strengthen the floor pan and driveshaft tunnel with this product. Constructed from 1” x 2” x .083 wall rectangular steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut steel plates, these braces replace the factory stamped steel design. It uses factory mounting holes while increasing the rigidity of the tunnel in the critical area where the driveshaft carrier bearing is located. This product works best when used with the SFC013 subframe connector.

BMR A-arms are fabricated from heavy duty MIG welded DOM tubing and come pre-assembled with low deflection polyurethane bushings, bump stops and new ball joints. Lower arms have sway bar mounting provisions and work with all stock replacement springs and shocks or with the popular QA1 Pro Coil kit.

Body mount bushing kit

BMR solid body mounts increase frame-to-body stiffness resulting in decreased body roll and enhanced suspension reaction. The interlocking design installs like the factory bushings using provided hardware. BMR CNC machines these body mounts from Delrin to eliminate problems such as squeaky polyurethane bushings or electrolysis issues commonly associated with solid aluminum body mounts.

Driveshaft tunnel brace

Convertibles need all the help they can get when it comes to chassis rigidity. The factory tunnel brace for convertible models provides limited exhaust clearance and very little support. BMR manufactures its tunnel brace from heavy duty 1/8� laser cut material and adds a formed X-brace into the design for uncompromised rigidity. Additionally, BMR designs in the ability to run up to a 3.5� exhaust system through the tunnel brace.

F-body 1967-1969 Subframe connectors

Subframe connectors increase chassis rigidity by tying the front and rear subframes together. BMR subframe connectors are manufactured from heavy duty 2”x 2” square tubing with 3/16” laser cut mounting plates. The bolt-in design installs by simply drilling holes while the weld-in version provides “through-the-floor” unparalleled chassis rigidity. Both versions ship with BMR’s popular Delrin solid front subframe mounts.

If you are looking for increased cornering capabilities with decreased body roll, BMR sway bars are the answer. The front bar is made from hollow 1.25” cold formed steel to better resist torsional fatigue and retain “memory” far longer than conventional bars. Transmission conversion crossmembers

BMR Transmission Conversion Crossmembers allow you to take advantage of today’s technology and install newer, late model overdrive transmissions into your muscle car. These no-hassle, bolt-in crossmembers can also replace your OE TH400 or TH350 crossmember with a stronger, lighter version that provides more exhaust clearance. Additionally, our crossmembers are designed with brackets for future upgrade to BMR’s Torque Arm Suspension Kit. All brackets are laser cut and CNC formed to provide precise tolerances and trouble-free installs. Kit TCK005 also includes the necessary firewall bracket to install the clutch master cylinder and the clutch pedal adapter bracket. Note: A BMR Transmission Conversion Crossmember is required when installing a BMR Torque Arm Suspension.

Using our proven track record in torque arm development and application, BMR has developed an applicationspecific torque arm conversion kit that brings modern suspension technology to this platform. Versatility – With a torque arm you get the best of both worlds, lateral stability for acceleration traction and centered suspension articulation for bind-free handling. This makes a torque arm great for street, drag racing, or road racing without compromising any application. BMR kits are available for the popular GM 10 bolt and 12 bolt or the Ford 9” rear ends and both kits are 100% bolt-in with no welding or fabrication required. Better spring control and dampening – The BMR Torque Arm Suspension Kit eliminates the rear leaf springs, replacing them with a custom upper crossmember, adjustable control arms and AFCO double adjustable coil-over shocks. Multiple spring weights are available and BMR can help calculate your ideal spring choice when ordering.

axle positioning. The Watts link pivot is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and utilizes greasable, internally fluted Delrin bushings for a long, trouble-free life. Additionally it is supported in a double-shear fashion unlike others on the market. Adjustability – Every component in the torque arm conversion kit is adjustable. The torque arm itself provides pinion adjustability. Control arms are adjustable in length and have multiple mounting holes plotted in an arc to provide adjustment for anti-squat characteristics. The shocks have both compression and rebound adjustability as well as spring adjustability. Additionally, the shock/ spring combos have multiple mounting holes to allow a wide range of ride heights. a-body 1964-1972 CONTROL ARMS

Stock control arms are marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex can create erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the additional loads of performance driving. BMR lower control arms are built with heavy duty 1.5” x 3” rectangular tubing while uppers use 1-5/8” x .120” rollcage tubing. Together they make a bulletproof combination. Upper control arms are available in either fixed or adjustable versions. Adjustable uppers allow “on-car” pinion angle adjustment by simply loosening the jamnuts and turning the adjuster. No need to unbolt the control arm. These adjusters are by far the strongest in the industry. Made from 1-1/8” CNC machined steel and zinc plated for corrosion resistance, they truly are overkill!

The soft portion of the progressive winding maintains near OE ride quality during normal driving conditions. BMR’s 2 degree camber bolts are used for adjusting camber on the OE and aftermarket struts. The 2005+ Mustang has no camber adjustment from the factory. When lowered 1” or more, the car begins to develop negative camber resulting in premature tire wear. It is possible to gain 2 degrees of camber with one pair of bolts. The panhard rod is responsible for locating the rear end side-to-side in the chassis. Factory panhard rods are made with small diameter tubing and rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR panhard rods are all made from larger diameter 1.25”, heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either greaseable polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. Differential Bushing Kit

3 link suspensions place excessive loads on the upper link bushings. In the S197 Mustang, two bushings are responsible for handling the same torque load that 4 bushings had done before. Additionally, these bushings are subjected to more “twist” than before since the rear end can better articulate as a 3-link design. In order to allow free articulation, the OE rearend bushing is designed to flex. This flex is great for handling but under straight line acceleration, it contributes to wheel-hop and inconsistent launch characteristics. BMR offers a no-compromise solution with it’s dual-durometer, 5 piece polyurethane replacement bushing. By designing the bushing as a multi-piece unit, the inside portion can remain stiff for great straight-line acceleration load and the outside portions soft for bind-free handling. NOTE: requires use of existing bushing shell.

The factory radiator crossmember is built overly strong because it must also support the additional loads of the front sway bar. With the sway bar removed, the crossmember only needs to support the weight of the radiator. Our lightweight crossmember only weighs 5.5 lbs. as compared the OE 16.5 lbs. Combined with sway bar removal, expect a 26.5 Lb. weight reduction.

SUBFRAME CONNECTORS

Ford’s new Mustang platform is a vast improvement over the Fox body with chassis rigidity upgraded over 30%. While this is good news, it is still a uni-body and we are still left with a front and rear subframe that is not connected. BMR subframe connectors take over where the factory left off. Both tubular and boxed designs complete the frame by tying the rear control arm mounts and subframe connectors assembly to the front subframe. The HD boxed subframe connectors go a few steps further by triangulating key structural points together to make a very rigid frame.

upper Control Arms

Upper control arms are available in either fixed or adjustable versions. Adjustable uppers allow “on-car” adjustability by simply loosening the jamnuts and turning the adjuster. This allows you to adjust your pinion angle without unbolting the control arm, a convenience not offered by most other companies. These adjusters are by far the strongest in the industry. Made from 1-1/8” CNC machined steel and then zinc plated for corrosion resistance, they truly are overkill! Both upper and lowers are available with either polyurethane bushings or Teflon lined spherical bearings. BMR subframe connectors for the Fox platform are by far the strongest in the industry. They are fabricated from heavy duty 1.25” x 2” x .120” wall thickness rectangular tubing and utilize laser cut, CNC formed weld plates. Our unique design on our V8 models feature integrated frame stands that replace the factory cast iron frame stands. This additional weight reduction allows us to use larger diameter tubing and thicker mounting plates for additional strength over the competition. This means that you can use the K-member for street use, road race, autocross, or drag strip use. Eliminate wheelhop and improve traction with an easy one hour installation. BMR’s fabricated control arms are available in both tubular or boxed versions, in fixed or adjustable lengths. All control arms are equipped with either spiral fluted internally lubed high durometer polyurethane bushings or Heavy Duty QA1 Teflon raced XR series spherical bearings depending on the part number. The heavy duty boxed control arms are fabricated from 1.5” x 3” rectangular tubing. The non-adjustable tubular control arms are fabricated from 1.625” x .120” DOM tubing or in the optional 1.625” x .083” 4130 chrome moly option. The “On-Car” adjustable versions are made from 1.25” x .095” 4130 chrome moly tubing. The panhard rod is responsible for locating the rear end side-to-side in the chassis. Factory F-Body panhard rods are made from stamped-u-shaped material and utilize soft, rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR panhard rods are all made from large diameter 1.25”, heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either greasable polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. The adjustable versions use left-hand and righthand thread to allow easy “on-car” adjustment. Our CNC machined adjusters are made from 4130 chromemoly and have rolled threads. The panhard relocation kit replaces the upper panhard rod support and relocates the panhard rod allowing enough room for up to dual 3” exhaust routing over the axle.

Eliminate wheelhop and improve traction with an easy one hour installation. BMR’s fabricated control arms are available in both tubular or boxed versions, in fixed or adjustable lengths. All control arms are equipped with either spiral fluted internally lubed high durometer polyurethane bushings or Heavy Duty QA1 Teflon raced XR series spherical bearings depending on the part number. The heavy duty boxed control arms are fabricated from 1.5” x 3” rectangular tubing. The non-adjustable tubular control arms are fabricated from 1.625” x .120” DOM tubing or in the optional 1.625” x .083” 4130 chrome moly option. The “On-Car” adjustable versions are made from 1.25” x .095” 4130 chrome moly tubing. The panhard rod is responsible for locating the rear end side-to-side in the chassis. Factory F-Body panhard rods are made from stamped-u-shaped material and utilize soft, rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR panhard rods are all made from large diameter 1.25”, heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either greasable polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. The adjustable versions use left-hand and right-hand thread to allow easy “on-car” adjustment. Our CNC machined adjusters are made from 4130 chrome-moly and have rolled threads. All rod end spacers are 304 stainless. The panhard relocation kit replaces the upper panhard rod support and relocates the panhard rod allowing enough room for up to dual 3” exhaust routing over the axle.

The Third Generation F-body needs all the help it can get with chassis reinforcement. Commonly known as one of the most flexible and “loosest” chassis ever produced we made sure that our subframe connectors were up to the task. As with most of our subframe connectors, we reinforce the rear control arm mounts with HD 3/16” plate and use rectangular tubing to join three areas: the rocker pinch welds, rear control arm boxes and front subframes. This ties in the entire floorpan of the car by joining key structural components, minimizing chassis flex and improving handling.

Factory torque arms do a great job at robbing horsepower and torque and “dissolving” it into the chassis. Replace your weak, flexible stamped metal torque arm with a rigid BMR tubular version and put that power where it is supposed to be - the pavement! Made from MIG welded 1.25” x .120” tubing with heavy duty 1/4” mounting plates. Bolts directly in place of factory torque arm using all factory mounting locations. Requires no welding or drilling and clears all factory or aftermarket exhausts. CV SHAFTS

OE CV axles typically won’t fail because the driveshaft goes first. Once the driveshaft is upgraded, the CV’s become the next weak link and typically break at the axles’ transition on the shaft. A broken CV axle can cause thousands of dollars in damage before getting the car stopped. Don’t risk it, our heavy duty CV axles use custom billet CV joints and 300M axle material. The axle itself is 1-3/8” diameter compared to the OE 1-1/16” and is capable of handling 800+ RWHP.

The factory driveshaft in the GTO is the weakest part of the entire driveline. It’s a two piece design that is only 2 inches in diameter and uses rubber mounts instead of u-joints. Does wheelhop plague your new GTO? This is a common side effect in independent rear suspensions caused by the inability to properly dampen vertical wheel movement with applied torque. Combine this with the minimal rear suspension travel of the new Goat and your bouncing off the bumpstops every time you stab the throttle. An easy solution to this is stiff rear spring rates, however ride quality then becomes an issue as well as excessive oversteer. The best solution is a set of BMR Drag Bags. This is an old solution to a relatively new problem. Spring rate can be altered by simply adding air and ride quality remains unaffected when the bag is deflated. BMR subframe connectors provide the ultimate in frame rigidity and add to the overall handling ability of the car. Factory control arms for the SS are the same as what Chevrolet puts on Grandma’s Caprice. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of performance driving. BMR control arms are built using 1-5/8” x .156” DOM tubing with 1/2” thick mounting plates for a bulletproof combination. Lower arms are available stock length or 3/4” longer than stock to properly center the wheels in the wheelwells and both are equipped with sway bar mounting holes and greasable, low deflection polyurethane bushings.

g-body 1978-1987 a-arms

BMR A-arms are fabricated from heavy duty MIG welded DOM tubing and come pre-assembled with low deflection polyurethane bushings, bump stops and new ball joints. Lower arms have sway bar mounting provisions and work with all stock replacement springs and shocks or with the popular QA1 Pro Coil kit. Upper A-arms provide additional header clearance and are assembled with a new billet cross shaft and HD stainless bushing retainers. Expect a combined weight savings of 10 lbs.

Factory control arms are marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of drag racing or performance driving. BMR control arms are manufactured from large diameter DOM or rectangular tubing to eliminate this flex and stabilize the suspension, allowing the suspension to do it’s job more efficiently.

w-body 1996-2oo6 trailing Arms

The W-Body rear suspension is marginal at best when it comes to aggressive driving. The factory uses small diameter tubing on the lateral links and formed sheet metal for the trailing arms. When subjected to higher loads than Grandmas typical driving, they tend to flex, producing unpredictable handling characteristics. BMR tubular lateral arms and trailing arms increase the suspensions reaction times and promote improved consistency throughout the driving experience.

The BMR tubular trailing arms replace the factory stamped, u-shaped trailing arm with a 1.5” diameter tubular upgrade. All arms come standard with low deflection, fluted polyurethane bushings equipped with grease fittings.

BMR adjustable lateral arms replace the factory 3/4” diameter arm with a heavy duty, 1.25” diameter tubular unit. The large 3/4” adjuster allows “on-car” adjustment in an accessible location. The purchaser is responsible for determining the suitability and acceptability of any and all products purchased from BMR. Returns - Non-Warranty Items: All non-warranty returns must be made within 90 days from the date of shipment and are subject to a 15% restocking fee, excluding all shipping cost. All items must be received in the original packing material and in the original condition as it was shipped. All items damaged from shipping will be refused. BMR will issue a Returned Material Authorization number for every return. Returned goods will not be accepted without an RMA Number. There are no refunds on shipping and handling charges and all items must be sent prepaid. All returned goods sent freight collect will be refused. If item is returned scratched, nicked or damaged in any way, the cost to repair or re-powder coat the item will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If item is missing any components, the cost to replace these components will be deducted from the amount of the refund. Special order items cannot be returned. Shipping: In-stock parts ordered by 3pm Eastern time will ship the same day. BMR Fabrication, Inc. ships all orders UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. UPS next day air, 2nd day air and 3-day select are only available on items that are in stock at the time of order. Canada, Hawaii and Alaska shipments may ship US Postal Service if requested in advance. BMR Fabrication does not ship product using other smallpackage carriers. Any shipment that is refused without authorization will be subject to original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and a restocking fee. Shortages and Incorrect Shipments: If the incorrect product is shipped to the customer due to a BMR error (wrong color, wrong part, wrong size), the incorrect product will be replaced with the correct product at no charge. If a shortage is found within the shipment, the missing components will be replaced at no charge. Incorrect product and shortages must be reported to BMR Fabrication within fourteen (14) days of receipt of shipment. The customer may be responsible for a portion of the replacement cost if reported after fourteen (14) days. BMR will ship the replacement product or missing components at no charge using the same shipping method as the original shipment. If the customer would like to upgrade the shipping method (for example, Next Day Air), the customer will be charged the difference in shipping cost.

If the customer cancels the order, the order will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Replacement product will not be shipped until the original product has been returned. International Orders : All international orders must be fully prepaid in US funds. International orders that are more than $1000 must be prepaid with a wire transfer. International orders that are less $1000 may be paid with a credit card or wire transfer. International orders will be shipped UPS or truck freight. Canada orders may ship US Postal Service if requested in advance. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and must be prepaid. All international items will be fully insured and marked for the full value of the item. Required duties and taxes must be paid by the customer to the appropriate parties. Warranty : BMR product applications are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of (2) two years from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Obligation under this warranty is limited to product replacement but not the reinstallation of the replacement product or other incidental costs. This warranty does not cover any product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, accident, or improper installation. Normal wear shall not be considered a defect under this warranty. All warranty adjustments are limited to replacement or credit of returned merchandise. This warranty specifically excludes impact damage or damage to powdercoat. BMR will issue a Returned Material Authorization number for every return. Returned goods will not be accepted without an RMA Number. BMR will ship the replacement product at no charge using UPS Ground. If the customer would like to upgrade the shipping method (for example, Next Day Air), the customer will be charged the difference in shipping cost. BMR product is designed to be used with OEM product and other BMR products. BMR does not warranty our product for fitment with aftermarket product from other manufacturers. This applies to suspension products from other manufacturers as well as aftermarket exhaust products, aftermarket drivetrain products, and other aftermarket products. BMR products that are returned due to fitment issues with OEM components or BMR product will receive a full refund. BMR products that are returned due to fitment issues with aftermarket product will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Purchaser understands and recognizes that racing parts, equipment and services by or manufactured and/or sold by BMR, are subject to varied conditions due to the manner in which they are to be installed and used. The acceptability and suitability of any part sold or manufactured by BMR for a particular application is solely the purchaser’s decision. BMR makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, or or written, THERE IS NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. The right to make changes in the design or add to or improve on their product without incurring any obligation to install the same on products previously manufactured is expressly reserved.
