• Designed retail marketing, collateral and corporate ID to create a strong brand awareness for our main client, high-end retailer, Mark Shale. • Worked directly with Owner, Marketing Manager, and merchandise buyers to produce, direct and see through every catalog, from page layout to photography (and any photo manipulation) to image coordination, print and press checks. • Coordinated merchandise for photography and prepared pages for image organization throughout each photo shoot. • Art directed and edited still life photography; reviewed color separations. • Designed in-store signage, run-of-press advertising and direct mail collateral and designed two logos for use within their advertising. • Other studio responsibilities included managing the studio with directing calls, scheduling, keeping supplies in check and setting up catering needs.

• Cleaned up the organization of graphics, re-branded the visual appeal of the magazine and catalogued past issues after the magazine experienced a long haul of monthly turn-over in freelance designers. • Responsible for the art direction, layout, prepress and release for every monthly issue. • Worked side-by-side with the Owner/Editor of the magazine to create a solid media outlet for the Chicago high tech community. • Communicated with advertisers and the printer to meet deadlines and quality assurance.

• Main effort has been designing and/or maintaining corporate ID along the lines of logos, printed annual reports, press kits, invitation campaigns, and catalogs with responsibility from concept to print. Worked with agencies such as BHI Design and Kozak & Krysti, Inc. among many smaller singular clients.
• Project clients include: Brunswick, CoStar Broadcasting, Trinity Rail, Davis Street Land Company and ReferralCircle.net among others.

• Responsibility included page layout, hefty image organization, prepress production processes, following rigid preflight standards and communication with the separators and printers for many different media outlets, including catalog and run-of-press advertising. Maintained these strong production principles with every project since.
• Clients included: Sears, Sax Inc. (Herberger’s, Parisian, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott), Broder Brothers, Zainy Brainy and others.
