Mineral Makeup Tips Printed on the Instruction Card included in the Customized Sheer Minerals Starter Kit: Mineral Application Tips Foundation: Easy to apply! The sifter jar is designed to dispense a small amount of minerals onto the inside of the lid. At least 10 m inutes after applying your favorite moisturizer, dip brush into the foundation and swirl. Gently tap excess powder into lid. Start at the outer edge of your face near your jaw and buff the foundation into your skin using a circular motion. Apply light layers for best results. A fter several minutes, the m inerals warm up on your skin and offer a natural radiance. Bronzer or Blush: Dip your brush into powder, swirl in lid and tap off excess so the powder nestles into the bristles. Only a tiny amount of blush or bronzer is needed. Swirl onto cheeks as well as your forehead, nose and chin, if desired. Finishing Veil: After foundation and blush is applied, a Veil powder can be used very lightly to help set your makeup. It will help those with oily skin maintain a matte finish all day long. Upgrade your kit and try our Cover-‐Up and Eye Shadows! Cover-‐Up: Apply these powders all over your face or use as a concealer for blemishes or dark under-‐eye circles. Apply prior to foundation and blush. Eye Shadow: Using an Eye Shadow Brush, lightly dip in powder. Our Eye Shadows can be intense so use sparingly. Apply to eyelids or to the crease of your lid for a contour effect. Try wet application if desired by mixing the powder with a drop of water and then apply to your lids. For eyeliner, dip Eyeliner Brush into powder and apply to edge of eyes as desired, wet or dry.

More Helpful Tips! To help ‘set’ the mineral makeup, you can use Lemongrass Spa’s Mineral Setting Spray. Close your eyes then lightly mist onto face after applying foundation, blush and veil (if you choose). The Setting Spray offers instant hydration that gives the minerals a finished look. Keep brushes clean and fresh by gently washing them occasionally. Use Lemongrass Spa’s Foaming Liquid Hand Soap and water to clean your brushes. After gently washing them, wipe them off using a soft hand towel, then fluff them up a bit. Allow 2-‐3 hours for brush to air-‐dry completely before using them again. Hint: wash them at night, allow to dry overnight and they will be ready for use in the morning. For women of color or for those who prefer Liquid Foundations: Create a liquid foundation in a clean sample jar. Use a couple squirts of your favorite Face Crème and add a little mineral foundation. Mix with a Foundation Brush or a cosmetic spatula. Add more mineral foundation until desired color has been achieved. Apply to face with your fingers or with the Foundation Brush for beautiful coverage and extra hydration. This technique may help women of color avoid an ashy finish when using mineral makeup. “A little goes a long way”. Always begin with a small amount of minerals, you can always add more. Apply foundation at your jawline first so that minerals don't accumulate at the creases around your nose and eyes. When sharing mineral makeup with party guests, use disposable applicators. They may apply the Cover-‐Up, Foundation, Blush and Veil with a cotton ball and apply the eye shadow, lipstick and lip gloss with Q-‐tip applicators. You may also consider a store such as Sally Beauty Supply for disposable applicators and cotton balls. Demonstrate and allow your guests to feel the softness of the Bamboo Brushes but it is not necessary at first to have a brush for each guest.
